Our 12 year old re-draft league is splitting off into a BRAND NEW keeper-style league. All rosters are emply and we're drafting fresh! These are dedicated fantasy footballers that intend to keep this league up and running indefinitely.
Unlike a traditional keeper league where you only get to keep a handful of players, in our league you can keep as many as you want - it simply costs you a draft pick equal to where you drafted them originally minus 1 for each year you keep the player. So a 10th round pick in 2011 could be kept in 2012 for a 9th round pick, in 2013 for an 8th round pick and so on. Also, you can name 1 player as your "franchise" player and keep him for up to 3 years at the cost of your last pick!
The league is ran on MyFantasyLeague but I put together a simple website to introduce potential owners to the rules, prizes, scoring, etc. Please visit the link below. I hope you decide to join us. This a good group of owners in a league ran by a very experienced commissioner.
We are looking to get 14 teams but will go with 12 if that's all we get signed up by this Friday.
