ACTION AUCTION​

12 Team - Start 10 - 20 Roster Auction League​

Overview: This is a unique league with a 5 year lifespan. It is more of a keeper league than dynasty but you are welcome to keep as many players as you wish that fit under the cap.​

League Finances ​

NOTE - this is a 5 year league, no more, no less. Everyone pays $250 into LS and that covers all 5 years.
No refunds if you leave before the 5 year league life.
Year 1 = 2025, Year 5 = 2029. After 2029 the league is dissolved.

Year 1: 2025​

Startup auction will be held on ESPN with a salary cap = $279 per franchise. This seems random but is actually the NFL cap for 2025. The auction will be split into 2 days on ESPN.
Day 1 for first 8 rounds or 96 players.
Day 2 for the remaining 12 rounds or 144 players.
You must have a complete roster of 20 players and valid starting lineup at the end of the auction.
League to be hosted on Sleeper

• Teams will play 14 game regular season head-to-head with 1 game per week.
• Trades are allowed with deadline of Tue after week Week 13.
• Waivers will be blind bidding with each team receiving $500 per year faab. Waivers will be once per week Wednesday 8 pm eastern starting Aug 1 and continue until the end of Week 17. Prior to week 1 waivers will just be the once per week faab but in season it will be followed by FCFS until kickoff of that players game. Note anyone dropped in a week should be locked / frozen until the following week.
• Top 2 seeds based on Win% and PF receive a bye week 15. Seeds 3-5 based on Win% and PF.
• Seed 6 is highest points for team remaining.
• Week 15 #3 seed can select from 4-6 if nominated by Tue 8pm eastern. If not chosen they will play #6 and 4 vs. 5.
• Week 16 #1 seed can select from remaining teams if nominated by Tue 8pm eastern If not they will play the lowest remaining seed.
• Week 17 Championship and 3rd place game.
• Prizes paid out with Leaguesafe majority votes as per table below.

Year 2: 2026​

• All players that were FA or $1 sal are released. All other players receive a salary raise of 15% rounded up with a min $3 bump.
• Salary cap increases to $307 per franchise inline with NFL actual salary cap. This is approx. 10% increase vs. prior year.
• Teams must decide on keepers that fit under the cap allowing enough cap to complete their roster of 20. Deadline will be set by commissioner in May/June.
• Auction will be setup to complete rosters that include all FA and rookies. This could be setup again on ESPN or any other site deemed appropriate to conduct auction of 1 player at a time.
• Waivers, trades, playoffs will continue the same as year 1. See prize table for payouts.

Year 3: 2027​

• Salary cap increases to at least $337 based on available NFL estimates. If the actual NFL cap increases more then our league cap will increase to that number.
• FA & $1 players are released
• Salary increases of 15% rounded up, min $3
• Commissioner will set roster cut down deadline in May/June
• Commissioner will set auction to follow that includes all FA and rookies
• Waivers, trades, playoffs will continue the same as year 1. See prize table for payouts.

Year 4: 2028​

• Salary cap increases to at least $370. If the actual NFL cap increases more then our league cap will increase to that number.
• FA & $1 players are released
• Salary increases of 15% rounded up, min $3
• Commissioner will set roster cut down deadline in May/June
• Commissioner will set auction to follow that includes all FA and rookies
• Waivers, trades, playoffs will continue the same as year 1. See prize table for payouts.

Year 5: 2029​

• NOTE THIS IS THE FINAL YEAR OF THE LEAGUE - FACTOR THAT INTO YOUR PLANNING, BIDDING AND MANAGEMENT
• Salary cap increases to at least $400. If the actual NFL cap increases more then our league cap will increase to that number.
• FA & $1 players are released
• Salary increases of 15% rounded up, min $3
• Commissioner will set roster cut down deadline in May/June
• Commissioner will set auction to follow that includes all FA and rookies
• Waivers, trades, playoffs will continue the same as year 1. See prize table for payouts.
• Note there are some additional prizes for total Win% & total points for scored over the combined 5 years of the league.

Scoring​

• Passing 5 TD / 0.05 per yard and -2 int
• Rush/Rec 6 TD / 0.10 per yard
• 1 PPR and 1.75 PPR for TE
• 0.20 ppc
• Action scoring so if a player scores special team, fumble, or any other TD they receive 6 pts
• 5 point bonus for 300 yards passing, 100 yards rushing, or 100 yards receiving
• -2 for lost fumble
