Anyway, that would have been better in my eyes.  Instead, you went more with the shifty sounding salesman routine. 

Oh, and the whole "fantasy sports is a billions $ business but this isn't fantasy, we're going for even more from the people that don't play!" and "do you know how much apps make???" routines really rub me the wrong way. Who cares how much fantasy sports brings in if this isn't fantasy sports?  And if I told you I was starting a cell phone business, would you be more likely to invest if I told you that cell phone manufacturers make billions of dollars?

That's what I tried to express to Chappy when I first came on and tried to help answer some questions people were asking him. It's sad that it resulted in the insulting and name calling but that's what it became. I just tried to help, sorry to have taken up everyone's time. It was fun but I'm not going to waste my time anymore. Jhib, I respect your post!

For example: if you have 100 people that follow you on social media, each of those 100 would in turn have another 100 or more that don’t know you at all! If they were also sharing the app, that would expand your reach to not 100, but 100×100! That’s the idea behind building an Affiliate team.

Network Marketing, by definition, is using a personal network of people to share a product. MLM, by definition, is generating income on multiple levels of people. So if you are going by the dictionary definition, then sure, we do both of those things.

Yes, yes indeed. It's ridiculous. It's also ridiculous to "pre-register" for absolutely no reason other than to further a creepy marketing initiative.

Hell, time-share companies actually PAY folks to listen to their sales pitches. So, forget free.... what are you guys offering as payment to sit through your pitch? :popcorn:

My wife (runs a daycare) - "Hey, one of the kid's parents knows a guy who is making some app that's like fantasy football.  He wants to know if we want to join up now, said you don't make money of friends, but off of advertising that plays while they're playing.  Wants to know if we want to get in on the ground level before it becomes huge"

You'll never guess what video she sent to go along with that....

Well if they're promoting it at daycares now, It's CLEARLY going to be huge. 

But I wonder if that guy is offering the same great special of letting us watch a FREE Sales pitch video... I mean, surely the other guy was charging for that privilege, right? 

 

 
Can we get a thread title change? Not even anything mean, maybe just "New Awesome No Cost Sports' App" (you can even leave the completely unnecessary possessive apostrophe).

I get to Page 1 of the FFA by typing "free" in my Chrome bar and now this ####### thread is the first hit.

Things have picked up lately, would love to get on a roll here, despite it being a pyramid scheme.  Who's wanting to take the big free risk?

I understand but sometimes being persistent works too, especially when the almost 4,000 posts accounted for almost 100% negativity on the topic as if I was trying to take advantage of people.  Got a raw deal to start and maybe the closer we get to the season, the more positive interest it'll get. I'm part of an entire team and most of the other affiliates have players registered under them in the hundreds. 

Why not try again?  The app is coming get in now! I've been told there may even be incentives for players who register early. Don't ask me what they are. Any other info I get about it, I'll pass on. Just need a first and last name and a cell # to send out free invites for you guys to check out.

Anyone else?  Got some more info today on the release of this app and how it's going to work. They just had their big reveal in Vegas.

How is that a demo?

It's some guy saying the same #### you've been saying, only he makes it sound worse. Who wants to disrupt their enjoyment of the game to answer pointless questions to win hats and shirts? OMG! Miami won the coin toss! Cha-ching....hat!
