New construction - slab cracked edition (1 Viewer)

So today while I was walking around my house to see the new cabinets I notice a crack in the slab. It goes under several walls and to the outside. How screwed am I?

Not that big of a deal. Slabs in general are not part of the support structure. They can be in places but they are suppose to be thickened i those areas and probably will not crack in there. Mostly a cosmetic concern.

Is it a crack through the slab or simply a tiny vein crack? If it is a real crack then "very" may be the answer to your question. The rebar and meshing make it near impossible to be an issue now, but over time as things shift it could be a big problem.

It has a gap. A very small gap but a gap nonetheless. I have a buddy who is a PE civil eng. we are going to look at it in the next few days.
