We all appreciate Jerry sticking by his guns so soon after the loss and the end of the season.

BUT, will he have a change of heart as we move away from this game and start to look at changing out Wade?

Can his ego take another Parcell's like coach? Is that what's needed(IMO YES).

I think the Wade era should be over and I'm not sold on Garrett as HC. I think someone else as HC, Garrett as OC and Wade as DC would be ideal but probably not possible. Garrett wants to be HC and Wade would not step down to DC.

If Garrett isn't offered the HC, he won't be a Cowboy next year. IMO of course.

Local news/radio talking up Todd Haley OC with AZ that was WR coach here before.

He did do wonders with an old QB and those receivers! He is familiar with the Joneses.

Although he'd never take the job, Bill Cowher would be an ideal choice. JJ will keep Wade because he deflects criticism away from himself and he can steamroll Wade into doing whatever he wants. It's the perfect marriage to suit JJ's oversized ego, despite the pitiful results.

Wade always looks to me like he needs to find the porta potty when they show him on the sideline. He just looks like a guy who's along for the ride, like Switzer. But, Wade doesn't have the stallion Barry had. I firmly believe you need someone in between Parcells and Wade. Who that person is and if Jerry will ever reverse his decision between now and camp is another story. I think the Dallas situation would be attractive to a head coach. They are a team that is close and can get there within a year or two, unlike Clev. Det. etc.. Most of the pieces are in place. A new coach will shake things up, make everyone focus again. I think the players lost focus because Wade's a lame duck HC. I'd like to see Wade step down to DC and have Garrett promoted if that's what Jerry was cryptic about when he said our coaches are in place.

As much as Wade sucks. I honestly don't think we are just the "right coach" away from fixing this mess. The core of this teams needs to be gutted and rebuilt from scratch. I do not think Jerry has the patience or the stomach for it.
