This league we will use MLB team names (past or present) for our team names. This will be a 20 team league with 8 teams advancing to the playoffs. League dues are $4. I want to keep the league affordable but competitive.
H2H points based. Using Fantrax for the site.
SALARY CAP: There will be a Cap of $160 million. No contract years but real salaries of MLB players. Salaries can change through out the season so watch your Cap carefully. Active, Reserves, and Minor Leaguers will count towards the Cap. Injured Reserve will not. The Cap will probably go up $5 million every year but is subject to change depending on how it plays out.
ROSTERS: We will have a 45 man roster. 18 starters (9 hitters & 9 Pitchers). A hard cap on 10 starts a week for pitchers. 12 Reserves for a total of 30 Active players. We will also have 15 players for minors. And a 5 person DL.
I have the draft set up tentatively for Feb 21. Depending on how soon the league fills. It will be a slow draft with an 18 hour time limit. I'm sure picks will come in faster than that but wanted to accommodate many different time zones if needed.
There will only be 1 draft. All players will roll over each year. You just have to stay under the Cap.
