New Dynasty Start-up (12 team) PPR, Salary Cap, 2 QB. Have 4 openings left. $50 (was bumped up from $40 for larger payouts)
Details: This league is salary cap based, with owner assigned contracts. Since this is the inaugural season, all NFL players are Free Agents and can be bid on by owners. I typically break the players into positional categories, meaning we bid on all the QBs before we move to the next position. The draft takes approximately 4-5 weeks to complete.
All owners “bid” on all free agents before the season starts and assign contracts to players. For example, Team A bids 5M/3 yrs on Aaron Rodgers. The remaining 11 owners have 24 hours to outbid Team A. If the bid stands for 24 hours, Team A is awarded Aaron Rodgers for 5M a year, for 3 years. There is a $150M cap and there is no maximum roster size. Transactions will take place on ProBoards and rosters set on Yahoo.
Starting rosters are as follows: QB, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, RB/WR/TE, DEF (no kickers).
Points: Passing – 1 pt/50yds +1 pt @ 300 yds ; 6 pt/TD ; -2pt/INT
Rushing – 1pt/20yds +1pt @100 yds ; 6 pt/TD ; -2 pt/fumble lost
Receiving – 1pt/20yds +1pt @100 yds ; 1 pt /REC ; 6 pt/TD ; -2 pt/fumble lost
Before the NFL season there will be a 4 round “college” draft which owners can draft any player in the college rank. Once eligible, they will be granted a 0.5M/4yr contract for the owner.
All free agents not bid on during the off-season will be available for a 1M/1yr contract at first come, first serve basis.
This is a H2H format and 6 of the teams will make the playoffs. The top 2 seeds will receive a bye.
Prizes: All league fees will be paid to League Safe and awarded at the end of the season. There are no maintenance fees meaning 100% of the money put into the league, will be awarded to the winners. Winnings will go to the top 3 high scoring teams thru 17 weeks and the top 3 in the playoffs.
