New England at Atlanta (1 Viewer)

Not sure Matty Ice will ever be an elite QB. He has an over flow of talent around him, he does very well... but man he is not very good in the clutch.

He is now officially named Matty Melted Popsicle.

agree with this....3 of his last four passes were terrible

Honestly I have to give major credit to the corners in the "new" NFL. It's so hard to be a difference maker with the rules so heavily favored for the receiver. For the few corners that are still able to impose themselves, they are GOOD. I would love to see what the "shutdown" corners of today would be able to able to do in yesteryear.

I'm a HUGE die hard Atlanta fan. Have been for over 20 years. I'm absolutely sickened how often we get the ball to the redzone and simply cannot score other than field goals. It happened in a loss to the Saints last year, it happened to the Saints and Dolphins this year and it happened in last years Championship game. Of course it had to happen again tonight.

I'm so pissed I'm shaking right now. Matt Ryan is a good QB but he simply cannot read defenses with a short field, it's that simple. Everyone can blame play calls, coaching, etc.. but it comes down to Ryan being able to make those reads in that quick of time.

That's all it comes down to.

Great stat line.

Talib:

Thrown at - 8

Passes completed - 1

Yards on catch - 1

Interceptions - 1

Shutdown
 You forgot to add:

Over/terribly thrown - 6
Responsible for how many butthurt Falcons fans - all of them.
No that sounds more like a Lion homer, I have lived in Michigan for most of my life and they have begged for a shut down corner on that team for decades. The fact that the Patriots stole him for a 4th round pick hurts Lion fans

I'm bookmarking this specific thread and may bump it the next time Edelman needs a kick the rump. Thanks poor man's whatever.

Also, stop letting key WR's return kickoffs.
