New England at Miami (1 Viewer)

Tannehill on the opening drive managed a couple of first downs but not 1 target to Wallace, Hartline, or Clay.

As I thought the secondary receivers will be his targets as OC Sherman is a chump and won't challenge with the weapons of Wallace and Hartline. I had a feeling they would try this.

If I am NE this is playing right into their hands. Mathews had some really nice effort to pick up the needed 2 yards he was shy on the catch to make a first down. Mathews might have a 7-8 catch day just judging from the first drive. Tannehill didn't even look outside.

Miami stiffens at the goal line, holds Pats to a FG, red zone was for Boyce who had another reception on the opening drive.

Shane Vereen-Not even on the field from what I saw.

Big penalty on Miami return, pinned them deep, of course they go 3 n out, Brady getting the ball back quickly in the 1st and will have decent field position at the 35 after a 51 yd punt.

Phil Simms with the best line so far "New England doing whatever they want to do"
He was right. Dolphins lucky they only gave up 3 on that drive.
It's not looking good my friend. Nothing on the first 2 drives makes me think Tannehill can be a factor today. He also had his right hand/thorwing hand with a bandage around the thumb and around the top wrist part connecting to the thumb, that doesn't look good to me. Might be why he doesn't chuck it deep today.

Lot riding today, if the kid cannot make the throws then play Moore, we're paying him $4M to carry a clipboard.

Vereen 1st catch and Miami's Ellerbee seemed to be ready, was on top of him immediately for no gain.

2nd catch for little gain.

FF owners will snicker because he now got almost 3 points for doing very little. I said he will have a small impact on the game today regardless if he racks 10 receptions for 50 yards.

Is Thigpen the worst return man in the nfl right now? Almost a disaster there but manages to recover the ball after it bounced off his leg.

Or we will realize he did what he was supposed to do by making catches and getting a few yards and therefor got a few points.

It's early 2nd and Vereen's been in a lot. Still plenty of time.

Nothing on the first drive, 1st catch was a tackle behind the LOS, 3rd/13 he caught a dump off for 5 yds, what am I missing? He has no impact right now on this game. Plenty of time, you're right.

Ahh... thought you were taking a dig at those of us that play PPR and think you should grade the player individually (as in how well they do their job) instead of how well the team does on a certain play.

Just taking a gentle jab back. I'm wound up because of a big playoff game! I'll tone down the sensitivity meter!

Conservative play calling by Miami so far. They did manage to shift the field position around with the good punt but they really didn't even try to get the first on third and long there.

Very conservative, that's not how you beat New England. Tannehill is not right, think he's injured and why not with all the punishment he has taken-47…48…49 sacks now on the season.

Hey MoP, you watching the game too? I've been in and out of the room, but the stats say Vereen fumbled. What did that happen??

4th and a long 1-Sturgis on to try the FG and tie the game. Shame to not be able to pick up a yard.

Bad snap, no FG for Miami

Philbin and Sherman showing why they suck as coaches today.

WTF was that? Holder wasn't even looking but wouldn't have mattered since it hit the up man in the hip
