Did the Jets just run on third and seven from the ten yard line?

Geno throwing surprisingly well, Pats are getting weird with their pass rush - Geno seems to have no time or all the time in the world. Also able to run pretty much without much resistance.

Jets getting a ton of pressure on Brady, typical Brady play when being pressured.

Jamie Collins gets his second pick of the season, wrapped up and laterals ( :doh: ) it to Browner for no gain.

The Pats need to get Connolly back pretty bad, this Oline is looking horrific.

Under review here. Gray may have been down. Announcers picked up on it pretty quickly. Would set up a big 3rd & Goal.

 
Field goal. You can't have three drives inside the ten, kick three field goals, and expect to beat the Pats. Not going to happen.

 
And, in other news, Rex Ryan still shows no capability of coaching an offense.

Throws Geno into the shotgun, sack, wind up with a 52-yard field goal attempt. No good.

 
Wow. Knew that was going to be tough. Very fortunate win for the Pats. Jets and Rex gave it all they had.

 
Brutal loss for the Jets. Still won't get much, draft pick-wise, out of it. Today was the day to win, and their problems and strengths with their coaching and offensive planning were apparent today.

eta* also, if people were turned off by the play-by-play style of the comments, there were people asking and looking for game summaries and others were providing it. Not usually how I roll, but figured I'd help. That's the game we got locally. Figured it might help people in their finals.

 
the Pats are going NOWHERE...you NE fans are dillusional..they're likely one-n-done in postseason. defensively they're still weak as hell..you can sugarcoat it all you want but they're not a great team..they look pretty average to me beating the Jets and lowly Fins in consecutive weeks..Amendola is a clown, dude talks trash but never has made it a full season in NE and only once has it he made in 16 games without injury during his entire career..second stringers should be banned from talking crap on the field..its like John Goodman calling other people fat..come on now..

 
On what planet was that a first down? It was an inch short. And, the refs were wishy-washy about making the call. It looked like everyone was confused as to what the call was. I know I was. Just awful work by the officiating crew there.

Dat salt! Incase you haven't been watching the Patriots divisional games over the past few years, regardless of whether it's the Jets, Bills, or Dolphins..they all play the Pats extremely tough. The Jets could be 0-15 and they'd still get fired up by Rex and come out strong and make it a close game. The Packers and Denver also had close games against the Jets. This is the best Pats team in years, and clearly one of the best teams in the league. If you can't see that then you obviously haven't been watching the NFL since October.

I did a search on "patriots", author = "tanner9919" and wow; talk about irrational and obsessive Pats haters, yikes!

We get it, you don't like the patriots and you told us they won't beat den, except they did, they won't beat sd, except they did, they will lose to mia, except they didn't, they will lose to the to the jets except they didn't and you knew they would be a mediocre 9-7, except they are actually a league best 12-3 and widely acknowledged by any credible source as one of the top (if not the best) teams in the league. But it's Pats fans who are delusional? Haha. you are too funny man........

 
Anyone see the sack they originally said Chandler got? They changed it to Siliga. I thought Chandler could have possibly been given a 1/2 sack.

the worst first down measurement/chains moving fiasco I have ever seen and this goes back to 1984 when I began watching football regularly

 
Not going to happen, but I hope ryan can't find a HC job and joins the pats as the DC. I sure as heck won't be sorry to see him leave the afc east that's for sure.
