thats a fair characterization. Definitely a tackle to tackle thumper. I thought he outplayed many of the hyped LBs in the Senior Bowl, especially in the key area of shedding blocks.

I watched him in a couple games and also in the senior bowl practices and game. He reads and avoids blocks very well and is a sure tackler. On running plays, he was the best linebacker on the field. His shortcomings come in the passing game. Although I think he may have promise as a rush lb as well.

That does sound like Ted Johnson. Hopefully he doesn't have the injuries as well.
