New, Free, PPR, IDP, 16-Team Dynasty League (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone.

I'm looking for committed owners to join my 16 team PPR, IPD Dynasty League. This league is heavy on tackles to help balance the defense and offense out a little bit. Looking at the rules, the only complaint I have heading into this is your draft. You're doing the 3rd round reversal which is fine and makes this more balanced, but then you're also separating the rookies into another draft which then is reversal of the veteran draft as well. This IMO makes the draft very overbalanced towards the end drafters.

Take a look at the dynasty league rankings and maybe I'm wrong but I think you'll find a team that gets picks 16, 17, 33, and R1 is at a major advantage over 1, 32, 48, and R16. I'm also not a fan of the commish vetoing trades, but as long as you error on the allowing a deal, that's ok.

My recomended solution (assuming auction is a no-go) is to include rookies in the initial draft.

I'll enjoy the league either way, but this is a concern.

I first realized how unbalanced that it will wind up being and am either going to to just have an initial draft or change the order so that it will be more fair. I'm currently leaning towards including the rookies in the initial draft now, but I'll let you know how it'll all work out.

EDIT: I have changed the league to be just one initial draft of 40 rounds.
