Though I have won quite a few leagues in my time..this is my first IDP league. So far, I have the following:

QB: Plummer

RB: S. Jackson

WR: C. Johnson

TE: Gates

We use 2 QBs, 3 WR's 1 Flex, 1 RB , with the normal Kicker thrown in. I have made some trades and have 2 7th round and 2 9th round picks. My next 2 picks I thinks should be WR and Qb..but after that...when is it to early to start with def players? I have a feeling that none of the others in my league realize the impact of the def players, which may be to my advantage. Should I grab 5 in a row with the 2 7's, 1 8 and 2 9's?..or is it to early.

It depends alot on your scoring of IDP's and how many at which positions do you need to start. With tbat information it would be easier to help you.

3 lb, 3 d line 3 db..and from what I gather normal scoring for them..1 pt per tackle..ect...

Etc. is important. How much for sacks and INTs? If it's 3, that's pretty standard.

I'd wait until the 8th, maybe pick one good LB, then wait until about the 10th and start loading up. Get lesser-known players - there are plenty of guys without big names who are excellent in IDP leagues. Check the IDP rankings by the staff members here to get a good idea of rankings.
