New Jersey Drone Invasion (2 Viewers)

If I was back in my highschool days I would convince my buddies to go get a bunch of cheap drones and fly them over crowded areas for fun.

They sell those drones in the mall in Christmas every year, I assume most teens know how to fly them. Even the cheap ones have cameras to record the publics reaction to show their friends.

You got me to thinking, has anyone tried to fly their own drone to get a close up? Maybe get some closeups and post them for the world to see. That might coax the DOD out of the bushes.

Well finally witnessed one first hand. Disappeared behind the neighbor's rooftop before I could get my phone out of my pocket. I did get a grain pic

My daughters drone range is only like 500 ft but I would try

These are not mall drones they are huge

Here's a funny one:
"Mystery drone emerges out of the ocean and heads towards Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant - NJ"
Accompanied by a video showing no water, nothing emerging from anything, no power plant, and what looks like airplane lights (red on one side, green on the other)
And yet people buy right in.
i doubt they will blow up and nuclear plant if they came out the ocean.
They need surface dwellers for trade just as much as people want to live.
the world has gotten out of hand.
Link no bueno

A guy named Mike Fraetta talking on Cuomo's show on News Nation just a few minutes ago said NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen) went out in the last few weeks for central New Jersey. He said explaining what these are is that all FAA Certified pilots (including drone pilots) get notices there's going to be a mission, which means don't fly in this area.

Today's press room on this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UoHxANv0Cc

Such a load of *********. Yeah, the US govt. is relying on citizen cell phone images to analyze this and determine there is not threat. I can't believe he stood there with a straight face shoveling this. They know exactly what this is.
lol...he was very careful with his words. No US Government produced images. We have a lot that we've bought from our good friend in the military industrial compex though!!!

Given the amount of trust that Americans have in major institutions at the moment, I don't think it would be a good idea for the US military to run experiments on US civilian populations. I can't believe that needs to be said out loud.

You’re assuming they care. I’m here to tell that they don’t. Nobody ever announced that they would start to act as if they had impunity, but as soon as the mantra “never let a crisis go to waste” was adopted at the federal level, they’ve decided they don’t care what they do. Everything is now part psy-op only turned domestically. Doesn’t matter who you voted for.

The amount of time before people take up arms or are deemed completely acquiescent is getting shorter by the day. Either way, normal people that want to go about their lives without interference from foreign (and now our own domestic government) have seen their window to do so shrink.

And it's shrinking rapidly.

I have a question for them: Are we that impotent against their machinery or do they expect us to just stare at our phones the whole time while they create oblivion everywhere around us?

All I get is a "private virtual zone". Sounds kinky.

Has anybody considered that this isn’t a test? That they’re running an actual mission because they’ve got information about something going on in America that threatens us?

My mind races. Perhaps all the Chinese nationals and other people that have crossed our border aren’t here for the blue-collar labor opportunities and off-payroll pay rate (I’m putting my tongue firmly in my cheek about that, so yes, I know that people off the books generally make less than people on them). Perhaps—perhaps—we let enemies in during our four-year vacation from reality and now they’re planning things that we can’t abide but that we also can’t tell the citizenry about because a) they’d be furious and b) they might screw up the mission and put everybody in jeopardy.

None of this will help me sleep well tonight.

I got a screen that says I’m joining a private club if I agree to the terms set forth on the page. It’s really not a big deal, but I didn’t feel like doing it.

People have and before they get close they experience some weird battery issues and drop out of the sky. Every time, similar to what happens when you try to fly a commercial drone into a military facility. There is some blocking/jamming technology being giving off by these things that don't allow drones me & you have access to to get anywhere near them.

I agree with you that if this drone thing is real, the explanation behind it is likely to be disturbing for one reason or another. But maybe it's not real.

This may be a bit of deep cut from recent culture, but during the summer of 2020, there was a conspiracy theory going around that the government (or somebody) was intentionally setting off fireworks in black neighborhoods because racism. Nicole Hannah Jones of 1619 fame was pushing that. And obviously it was false. Or at least I assume it was false because nothing ever came of it. Maybe people are seeing airplanes and getting caught up in a social contagion. Probably not, but it's happened before.

What do you mean "is real"? There are confirmed drones - pictures back it up. What are you referring to not being real, because there are indeed drones flying about?

They're not airplanes happy to help

I know the difference. Commercial airlines flight pattern to PHL are higher and further west.

It obvious they are not small airplanes from the local airport

I haven't paid careful attention to this story. Full disclosure.

Posted in the other thread (these should probably be merged). I live in NW NJ, about 20 minutes from Picatinny Arsenal. The last few nights there have been more than usual, photos and video showing 5-10 at a time.

My sister got a video of the drone flying over her house last night. It was a helicopter.

That's it I think would be awesome if this is some sort of marketing scheme. Maybe it's Santa scoping it out to make things easier for his elves on Christmas Eve?

Probably something to do with healthcare CEOs being monitored though that Luigi guy is quite the criminal mastermind.

The military has directed energy weapons that disable all electronics on a drone. The emiters are now small and almost handheld at this point. If the government wanted them out of the sky, they can do it without problem.

IF our military doesn't know what this is, based on how long this has been going on and their knowledge, we have to have the worst homeland security in the world.

I'm fairly certain they know exactly what's going on here.

Of course they know what is going on. Not only that, I'm about 1000% certain they are directing via defense contractors.

I'm beginning to think this a twofold experiment
  1. To ascertain functionality obviously
  2. Also to ascertain how the public reacts to a large drone presence for an extended period of time over a large urban area, prep for either
    1. An upcoming event the government writ large is anticipating
    2. Training for a scenario that the government writ large thinks will be likely in the near future

LOL......mine disappeared below the roof line before I could get my phone out. I won't pretend that some people are not getting some of these confused, but I can 100% vouch that my was not a helicopter or an airplane

No way is it a marketing thing. Drones need to be registered with the FAA and, if they’re a certain size, need to get clearances and file flight plans with the FAA. If it is a marketing thing and those things haven’t been done with the size drones people are seeing, somebody is going to prison.

And it's 0.55 lb that need to be registered and above

This was a little farther away after it circled back. It has some red lights also

Quick grainy pic

I think I saw one last night too on our way to Flag Football for my son. It was out over Round Valley Reservoir, and then moved eastbound over us. It was not a plane as it was too stationary over Round Valley. The lights weren't clearly NOT a helicopter though, so I'm not willing to say with 100% certainty it was a drone. I was also driving, complicating observation. It was lower than 5,000 feet, and moving at a moderate speed.

He said explaining what these are is that all FAA Certified pilots (including drone pilots) get notices there's going to be a mission, which means don't fly in this area.

The NOTAMS are only saying don't fly near Trump's Bedminster Golf Club, and Picatinny Arsenal. They're not broad No-fly areas. They are drone related, but also could be security related. It's common to have a NOTAM over places associated with the president. When I flew a lot in Northern Virginia, they often had a temporary NOTAM no-fly over Camp David if the President was there. They'd lift it when he was gone. Not saying Trump isn't at Bedminster right now, but maybe they don't want people flying over Picatinny because that's where the drones are based out of, but they don't want to flat out say it.

It’s happening in San Diego now too.

For the record. I live in Temecula but didn’t see anything, though I wasn’t looking either. Will tonight though.

I only know because it was dusk and closer when I saw it at first

dang, this whole thing seems pretty ominous. happening on both coasts, nobody seems to know what they are, or aren't telling. the official line from the government is that it's not us, and it's not a foreign entity, so...?

Locally here in Nebraska, we had drone sightings a few years ago along with Colorado. It was all over the news and local authorities weren't able to get any answers. We had the weather balloon from China incident along with other "balloons" and unidentified objects (a few that were shot down). We've had recent UAP congressional meetings to which highly credible people gave testimony to witnessing objects that defied known technology. Now we have these drone sightings. I have never been a "conspiracy theorist", but IMO all of this, or at least some of it, is related and cannot be just coincidence and as described by our government.

How can someone standing on the ground tell the size of a flying object?
Depends on if it's a swallow or not.
African or European?
A swallow carrying a drone?

I mean it's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a hundred pound drone. In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a swallow needs to beat its wings forty-three times every second, right? I guess an African swallow, maybe -- but not a European swallow. Of course, African swallows are non-migratory so that's probably not a reasonable assumption either:shrug:
