NEW Keeper League (ESPN, FREE, IDP/PPR) DRAFTING TONIGHT (9:15PM EASTERN) (1 Viewer)

At press time (the time of this posting), I have 7 spots remaining in a brand new 10-team league set to begin operating this year. I'm looking for a few more interested people to be team owners in this new league. Even with the preseason underway, it seems to be more difficult than ever to find people for leagues this year (this applies to both new and returning leagues).

If you're interested in joining this league, all you would need to do is click on the invite link in this message and join directly from there. This league is DRAFTING TONIGHT.

Hey there, since this is only 10 teams, would you consider making it a 2QB league?  I am looking for one that is 2QB and IDP so I would definitely join.

Cool.  There are 32 starting QBs which means each team can draft 3 and this does not include the backups which are likely to play at some point as it happens every season.  Trying to make my case here as I have been having trouble finding a 2QB league.  Thoughts?

The OP (Offensive Player Utility) slot can be used to start a 2nd QB. I'm sure you probably already knew that. The only difference is here is that there's no "safety net" of a 3rd QB on rosters. I've had experience with that and it didn't go well. In mandated 2 QB leagues, the QB position becomes overvalued and overdrafted. Some people hoard QBs to use as trade chips later in the season. As injuries mount and QBs lose jobs to ineffectiveness (which always happens), it's a little comforting to be able to pick up a QB in free agency and not be 100% reliant on who you drafted at the beginning. Also, my league is a keeper league. Earlier, you seemed to be looking for a redraft.

Your right, it does make QB overvalued and overdrafted but it does promote trading.  I have no issues with a keeper league.  Would the 7 players be kept in perpetuity by the team that drafts the players?

I haven't given thought to imposing restrictions on how long players can be kept (and I've been running leagues in all sports for years). I naturally assumed that team owners would decide to change their keepers over time as old players lose value and new players gain value. Do you think there should be a set time limit (in seasons) on keepers?
