New Logos (1 Viewer)

I can understand teams wanting to stay with their iconic looks, but they make a big deal about logo changes where the average person wouldn't discern a difference unless someone called attention to it. If a team does a logo change, I'd really like to see them actually make a logo change, not make subtle tweaks what they already have. Here are the Bucs and Dolphins recent changes

I dunno, techincally, yes, it's a logo change, but I'd really like to see a change - like what the Pats did. I don't like or dislike their logo, but at least it was an actual change.

Oh.....I'm bored. Can ya tell?

Weird that all 3 Florida teams have changed their logos over the last year
Trying to do anything they can to spark interest from their fans since they all seem to have less than stellar attendance. I think a real logo change moreso than a tweak might help more if that was one of the goals.

I think it would've been awesome to see the Bucs go back to Bucco Bruce and the Creamsicle jerseys.

What's sad about these changes is that both organizations probably contracted out millions of dollars to some design firm and these are what they came up with.

They look great! Yawn.

Miami changed the look of their dolphin based on a new locker room philosophy. Bullies and tough guys to meek and mild.

Yeah that doesn't look too goodI think the style of the numbers really hurt the uniform
No one uses digital alarm clocks anymore, do they?! Will they even recognize that style of numbers? Terrible, but hey at least they're reflective.
Is it possible the Buccs have found something worse then the Bruce ones? I liked the orange ones actually.
They're definitely worse than Bruce the Buc, but sadly this is where we're headed. All teams will look this ridiculous within the next 5-10 years. :(

Love the orange trim. Like the jerseys a lot except for the numbers.

Some of you sound like my grandfather.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all, but those are simply brutal.

It was broke, and they fixed it. The gay creamsicle guy was gone, and they won a Super Bowl.

It wasn't broke, why were they fixing it?

Things that are wrong with it:

1. In case you wonder what sport we play, look at our logo...it has a football.

2. Did you see the SIZE of our logo on our helmet? If not, see your optometrist.

3. What time is it? Depends on which to players are standing next to each other.

Tampa Bay also becomes the first NFL franchise to incorporate a revolutionary reflective chrome border around the numbers on the front, back and shoulders. The chrome border incorporates a technologically advanced reflective coating that adds a new dimension, increased readability and a unique glow to the numbers.
I did not read this the first time. I take it all back.

Wha?
I said...

1. Our department of redundancy department thought it would be good to have a football in our football team's logo. In case anyone mistook us for a soccer team on the football field.

2. OUR LOGO IS HUGE!!!!

3. The numbers on our jerseys look like they came from a 90's style alarm clock.

4. Depending on where you deployed it, our color scheme would be great camouflage.

Are these quips supposed to be funny or something? I don't get it.

To make money?
It's a blatant money grab, but if we mock the new unis with the digital alarm clock numbers, then we are grumpy old men?

Not everything new is better. Some things are, in fact, comically bad.

I dunno, there were just about 5 quotes in a row there that had the "things were better in my day" vibe.

Most of the jerseys are changing. The Seattle sets ended up being a monster hit so most everybody is going to want a taste of that.

Sorry. Didn't realize today was "be puckered up" day.

I think they are pretty sweet and different.

Why does old logo Bruce have to be gay? Those terms are not cool and are highly offensive.

Plus the guy in my avatar needs to buy a new jersey anyways maybe he will buy a Buccs one. He should of wore one out in the sun, he wouldn't of been so burnt and gooney like he is in the picture.

Shoot he should be wearing the new Buccs jersey now to save my eyes.

I think it would be a big deal if the oldest franchises in the league made these dramatic uniform changes. But these uniform changes work for the other/newer franchises.

They're different, I like them.

Compared to thier previous jerseys these are horrific. Worst uniforms in football. Now I have to look at these abominations for five $#@% years.
