New NFL Uniforms / Logos for 2013 (1 Viewer)

I like the Jags logo, but it's a little more illustrative or cartoonish than it could be. Although it's more complex, it makes the old one look... misshapen for the sake of visual simplicity.

The dolphins logo looks nice... just like the Aquafresh logo. ;)

Vikings just did production improvements to their logo, something a lot of franchises should do, but don't.

The Viking looks like he's pushing a little harder to get the loaf out.

Yuck!

I think Dolphins traditionalists won't go for this. Its one of those deals where you try to take the iconic lines of a classic car and modernize it to look like something on the Jetsons.. I hate it (and I'm not a Dolphins fan).

Man, when did I go back to pre-school? Somebody just asked me to look at two similar pictures of a viking man and circle the subtle differences. Did I get all 4? The entire Vikings creativity team should be canned.

Jags-oh boy. If you are going to change something, CHANGE it! Then again, I guess we are only talking about having to make about 100 new shirts for the entire fanbase.

Hate the Dolphins' change.

The Vikes' helmet logos are sneakily starting to look like the Carolina Panthers.

And the Jags need to go more towards that military shield, something more traditional. They also ought to abandon the teal like the Bucs abandoned the creamsickle. This was the best improvement.

The jaguars are absolutely hideous.

The dolphins are bad. Their best uniform was from 1984 and those were sweet looking. Theyve slowly got worse and it looks like they finally crossed over into ugly.

Vikings might be ok. Possibly an improvement from the swoosh thing they started wearing a few years ago.

I don't particularly care for the Jags new uniform, but I'm over 45 and I figure NFL and Nike are marketing to the 16-35 demographic that grew up on Madden and Design Your Own Franchise.

Actually when I heard that Nike was involved, I thought it would be much, much worse.

I'm glad they're keeping the teal to try to keep them apart from all of the other teams that have black jerseys.

Still think it's stupid for a Florida team to have black as their dominant home color but that's marketing for you.

Jags helmets are terrible.

Luckily the rest of the uniform matches.
I give it the absolute minimum of time before they drastically alter those again. I think the Vikings last design only lasted a few years before they did another makeover. Same here. 5 years is the least they can wait?

I think they should have kept the curve of the dolphin the same but removed the helmet like they did. The old dolphin "stance" just looks more agressive,

Holy crap. Did I really just type that?

the Jags look like an awful college uniform

needed to sit to one color helmets, that black would of worked I think
I'm not sure what you can do with the Jaguars.

Either they go very bland, or they go wild with the Jaguar theme and look like the Bengals.

I think they need to start over. New nickname, new colors.

There is one positive this season, and everything else takes a back seat to it. It appears that most teams realized their 2012 mistake and got rid of that disgusting tuxedo/neck-roll collar from last season. It actually made me angry, having to look at that awfulness.

Redskins last season - Redskins tonight

Broncos last season - Broncos tonight

Buccaneers last season - Buccaneers tonight

It appears as if Cincinnati didn't get the memo.

Bengals last season - Bengals tonight

But it doesn't look as terrible on them compared to the rest of the teams due to the other stripes all over the place.

One of the first things I said to my friend last night. "Oh hey they got rid of the collar!"

I hadn't really watched any of the games too closely, yet, but good catch. Those collar things were fugly.

If you are a newish team with a generic look like the Jags, Panthers, Titans or Texans, I think you might as well do some crazy, Nike college style looks. There's nothing to lose since past looks have been pretty meh.

While the new Jags helmet is interesting I'll miss the metallic dark green they used to have (I know they looked black but closer inspection shows it was dark green metallic).

The Dolphins will do wonders for oral hygiene. I didn't realize how much the old Dolphins logo looked ready to tackle someone until compared to the new logo which looks like it'll melt if you pour salt on it.

The Vikings logo change is the most revolutionary thing to happen since the Cardinals logo change.

Jacksonville vs Miami looks like arena league, that said I actually like the Jags uniforms. The Vikes matte helmet doesn't match the uniform, not a huge fan.

The purple on their helmet ( :oldunsure: ) and the purple on their jersey have been different shades of purple for a long time. Puzzling.

Likewise with Dallas. I don't get it.
hard to get that match on plastic vs fabric?
Seems to have been a conscious decision to make the numbers a lighter shade of blue.

Dandy Don - helmet and numbers, same color

The numbers appear to have gotten lighter late in Tony Dorsett's career.

As for the Vikings, if you look at Tarkenton from the 70s, the helmet/jersey purples seem to match.

This used to drive me nuts and then I picked up on the fact that the Cowboys have both Navy Blue and Royal Blue as official colors.

Team colors, Royal Blue, Silver, Metallic Silver Blue, Navy, and White

Does not explain what has happened to my club's new look...originally thought they had made a return to a darker Purple but when I saw them last night in High Def it kind of turned my stomach to see it look a shade lighter...urghh

Cowboys Thanksgiving uniform might be my favorite uniform. The white helmet with plain blue star, the navy jersey with simple white number.
