***New Not Tim League fantasy football league thread*** (2 Viewers)

I've said all along that I wasn't suggesting a veto.  I do apologize for blowing it up.  Just wanted to point out what was happening.  It's a pattern of behavior.  

 
I’ll vote veto just because I don’t feel Em was making any attempt at improving his own team, but no worries if it goes the other way. 

 
I'll vote to not  veto the trade but Based on him saying he would take anything, I think he should be done trading for the year.

I don't believe there was collusion, but when a team "gives up" and gives away with no real interest in improving their team - it damages the league just the same.  

Just as bad as collusion.

I agree with this too.

I would vote to veto this trade because I think it adversely affects the integrity of the league, especially based on Em’s comments.

Em’s trade privileges should be revoked from here on out. And actually, the commish should set his lineup for the rest of the year too. 

 
After seeing enough people take issue with how it went down, JV has voluntarily offered to reverse the trade.  I've interacted with him quite a bit over the past year. He's a good guy and would never intentionally cause any issues in the league.  I know he can tell you that himself, but I'll say it as well.  Thanks, JV

 
No need to vote guys--I have been chatting back and forth with Flappy--and I have proactively decided to voluntarily reverse the trade.  He said he will handle it manually tomorrow.   I think it just makes the best sense for everybody and the league.

He paid his money. I don't want to take over his team or lock him out. Everyone keep things straight and it's all good.

Should we inform him to make any waiver claims as if the trade is reversed?  I would prefer that he be alerted proactively so that we can avoid him getting upset about not being informed about it.

I just pm'd him to let him know that the trade will be reversed tomorrow and to handle his waivers accordingly

That's the problem.  None of us really know if it's gonna improve his team or not.  We all know what his intent was,  we all know what we can expect to happen, but I think we gotta stick to the collusion or no collusion rule.  Obviously,  I don't like it, but if the trade happened and em hadn't admitted to what he admitted to,  would we all be doing this? 

I just called him out because it was really obvious what he was doing based on his past behavior.   I wanted everyone to remember it going forward and hopefully next year too.

 
We have a full confession he is tanking and sabotaging.  It is hard to allow a trade in that circumstance.  There is zero good faith here.

It's sad and pathetic, yes, but also really ####### annoying, which was the point all along. 

I don't think a hard and fast rule is possible without "unfairly" excluding a certain someone, but I propose that if you find yourself in trade talks with the guy, keep in mind who you are dealing with and err on the side of caution. We all want to win, but I'd hope that, with one exception, that comes with the caveat of not being at the expense of what has otherwise been a fun league with a good group of guys.

No more of that guy next year or ever again goes without saying.

Listen pal, I don’t know who you think you are talking about me like this. But all I did was accept a trade that was offered to me.

Be mad at the guy who offered it to me. To solely place the blame on me show your lack of people skills and immaturity.

Did I hack @jvdesigns2002‘s computer and send the offer? Did I have a gun to his head? 

I will be back next you and you are powerless to stop me. Come hell or high water. I will be back. You have no power to oppress or bully me.

Me getting skipped while the clock was off on a day 1 is way worse than me accepting an offer that was made to me.

But you don’t get that. You think I’m sub-human.

I’ve been in this league the past 3 years and nobody is going to stop that from being 4 because I accepted a trade that was sent to me.

Like, you’re going to sanction me for being honest? I could have said nothing and left you all in the dark.

Alright, I've taken the last insult from Em that I'm willing to take through PM. I've been extremely patient and understanding with this unnecessary nonsense.  His team is locked and he is finished. I'll adjust his roster weekly and put in his best starters. If by some miracle, his team goes on a run and finishes in the money, he'll get what he's owed. 

 
Please, everyone, do NOT pick up the players I've dropped from JV and Em. I will add them back to their roster shortly to reverse the trade.

"This is bull#### that I'm getting all this flack for a trade that was offered to me. If the trade was a bad trade, whoever proposed the unethical trade is the person who deserves the brunt of the backlash. I'm not going to take #### for this because I was skipped unethically off the clock earlier in the year.

@jvdesigns2002 wasn't the only team I sent offers to last night. @jvdesigns2002 is the only team that sent a counter-offer. He's just as responsible for any of this as I am. But this group of sociopath's who won't even recognize that skipping me was ####### bull#### to begin, won't rationalize this simple concept.

Guys, if it's OK with everyone, I'm just gonna go ahead and send Em's money back to him and we'll just make the total pot 1500.  Against my better judgment, I let him stay in the league earlier this year while multiple members told me to boot him. I regret that decision now, but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt after acting like a crazy person. 

 
Alright, there were alternative means take by another member of the league to settle the dispute. The score has been settled and the pot will stay at 1600. Thanks

1.) I literally created the draft spreadsheet 100% from scratch. That was vital to keeping the draft moving and keeping track of anything. I'm sorry for creating and managing the draft spreadsheet so you guys didn't have to.

Multiple members of the league suggested that they weren't comfortable skipping picks (@jon_mx and @cheese) but you guys skipped me anyway. This was complete bull#### and you all know it. We literally had WEEKS until the season started but you guys decided it was fine to skip me when the clock was off. 3 times mind you in the span of less than an hour. This resulted in me being forced into drafting AJ Green instead of Derrick Henry.

3.) I accepted a trade that @jvdesigns2002 offered me that multiple members of the league thought was a FAIR TRADE. Yet, everyone in the league was insulting and denigrating me and letting JVDesigns walk away with a clear conscience. If he doesn't offer that trade, I don't accept it. Yet apparently I'm a piece of garbage for pressing accept.

Read the above 3 points and explain to me in what way anybody here was inconvenienced besides me. I spent HOURS OF MY LIFE creating a spreadsheet for the draft only so you guys could skip me 3 TIMES IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. Then I accept a trade from ANOTHER MEMBER and am chastised for it. I was honest about my intentions and then I STILL was being lectured about it, even though I did the right thing.

THEN, I vent to the commissioner about all of this. He decides that I somehow "insulted him" when I very clearly did not as I consider @flapgreen to be a friend and then I am restricted from managing the team I paid $100 for.

AGAIN, who have I inconvenienced and who has been #### on more than me in this league? You guys are a bunch of drama queens. If you don't like me, fine. But don't just make some dumb narrative up that I somehow hurt the league in anyway:

1.) I made the spreadsheet.
2.) The three people who skipped me got better players as a result.
3.) I gave a $100 donation to the league as being skipped ruined my team.

But sure, somehow I'm the bad guy in all of this...

You deserved to be skipped because those were the rules which everyone was well aware of.  The only issue I had was if multiple skips were made when the clock was off.  That would have been a grey area because how to handle that is not specifically laid out and would be at the discretion of the commissioner.

Don't even bother.   He knows what he did.  He just wants someone to argue with him.  That's his thing.  Good riddance.

I was just legitimately upset about getting skipped 3x when the clock was off and my temper took over from there. I'm sorry for any inconvenience I've caused you @psychobillies as you really seem to hate me. But I don't want to keep rehashing the same sorry story. I really just wanted to play fantasy football with you guys as I've had plenty of fun doing so the past 3 years.

I don't hate anyone.  I'm just sick of your nonsense.  You either are doing this on purpose or you're insane.  I don't really care which one it is, but if you're in this league next year, I won't be.   Good luck to you either way.  

 
Geez Wtf. I traded for kerryon and he goes on IR in the very first quarter. I picked up lions backup rb and he goes on IR 2 days later. Smh
