Any info here? Is Pierre healthy enough to carry bthe load?
Per CBS Rapid Report from the other day:
RB Pierre Thomas has scaled down on his knee brace and it appears to give him more flexibility to make cuts. Thomas said his right knee feels healthy enough to make all the cuts and runs he'd normally make. How much action will he see? Again, coach Sean Payton wasn't willing to discuss it.
I'm thinking Lynell Hamilton will get work as well....especially if the Saints go up big

Thanks.

Wish this game started at 1:00.
I think what most Thomas and Hamilton owners are worried about is the following; Who is the starter and who stands to get the most touches. For those who have both, that is not a major problem but a viable headache. For those who have Thomas only and need him, it's quite a stresser.

According to ESPN via Sean Peyton, Pierre is close to 100% and should see more time - no mention of Hamilton.

Not sure who Ronnie DiMaio is but he's reporting the following on ESPN.com through Twitter:

pierre thomas will be limited. his backup is gonna play (hamilton). i like green bay D. #ffn_espn

The Fantasy Football Now crew on ESPN also reported that they are benching Thomas and starting Hamilton.

Pretty sure hes just some random dude and not an insider. :X http://twitter.com/skeezy28

Jeff Duncan, the Saints beat rider, who has been bearish on Pierre Thomas since the MCL last month, now reports that he feels that Thomas will likely regain the lead back role today. Big news IMO.
Thanks. Good news. I think this pushes Thomas slightly ahead on my (very grim) choice between Thomas vs. Beanie Wells. Btw, how exactly does one ride a beat? ;)

I am not sure I trust PT just yet without seeing him. I have to choose between PT, Chester and Donald Brown at Flex. I think I am leaning toward Brown for now.

:goodposting: Good info. Feel a little better about the situation now.
Rotoworld is saying that "Thomas will start and likely split carries with Lynell Hamilton.Saints declared RB Mike Bell (knee) inactive for Week 3.

Pierre Thomas will start and likely split carries with Lynell Hamilton. Lance Moore (hamstring) is also out, as expected. Other Saints inactives: QB Chase Daniel, WR Rod Harper, LB JoLonn Dunbar, OT Jammal Brown, TE Darnell Dinkins, and DT Kendrick Clancy.

Can anyone confirm this?

Per Jeff Duncan,

I haven't seen Pierre Thomas take a rep in pregame walk-thrus.

Jeff Duncan is a nobody reporter for the Times picayune. He knows nothing that the average fan doesnt already know. If you want the real Saints inside scoop you need to go to Saintsreport.com superforum. The Time Picayune is so bad I dont even subcribe to it anymore.
