Wilson was just special in that last game, the Saints were keying on Lynch. I think that was a big mistake. Wilson is the key to that offense. Hope they get their game plan right this time because they will need one hell of a game plan.

I think the Saints secondary is a huge problem. They couldn't stop the Eagles when those scrubs were in the game. I also don't think they'll be able to run the ball like they did against the Eagles. Being one dimensional against a team like Seattle is a recipe for disaster. I really want a close game but I think Seattle wins by a minimum of 14. I could definitely root for either of these teams to win it all.

At least the Saints have faced and know Harvin from having played against the vikings in 2009 and 10. He is not a stranger, he is a concern but.... He can't stay healthy.

Look, he's obviously a total wild card, but Ehlo was pretty familiar with Jordan. I'm not sure that's a good argument.

I think the atmosphere may actually be less hostile since it's an early Saturday game as opposed to the Monday night, get liquored up all day situation. Yes, I understand it'll still be mind numbingly loud. Night crowds just have an extra but of insanity that early crowds rarely match.

cool story...but the hawks have shown they are physically dominant over the Aints. Not sure how you can believe the outcome the second time around will be any different.

I'll add the NFL annals are filled with teams that lost a game to another team earlier badly and came back to beat them in the playoffs.

Baltimore last year being a prime example.

We just had our first road playoff win in 47 years - you don't think we're optimistic?

Yes I do like the CAR matchup on the rebound, but if for some reason we had that this week and somehow won we'd just be going to Seattle next week anyway quite possibly. Let's just do it now.

Having played in Seattle once may be helpful, you've actually experienced the atmosphere and challenges pretty recently. Like I said though, I think the Seahawks have been holding back some on offense and that will present new challenges for the Saints. Saints can't make any mistakes, and hope Seattle does IMO.

Big win. Low expectations for this one. I think the last meeting could have gone differently without that early pick six, but obviously that's what happens in Seattle. We've got big flaws, the Seahawks have few. I think we'll execute better than last time but unless the Seahawks turn the ball over multiple times, they'll march on.

I don't think it was execution - I do agree with the dominant theme, Seattle dominated.

Saints had few real mistakes on offense, the strip sack and score, but no picks and no fumbles.

What I saw was the Saints shutting it down after falling behind 20-7. I was impressed they got the TD, I really thought that game could have been 50-0. It was just a bit weird, just about every time in that situation the Saints have gone pass happy, Brees is apt to throw the ball 60 times in that kind of game, good bad or ugly. Instead they just tucked it in and called it a night.

Well some of us were likely watching the games with friends and family, I was.

I completely agree with the bolded, but then I don't think much of what Seahawks fans predicted, besides the win, came true. I do remember one poster predicting a blowout, but I think nearly everyone NO & SEA predicted a big game by Lynch in such a scenario - that did not happen.

i would be perfectly fine with someone bumping that after the game with some serious wtfpwnage, but I just don't think New Orleans matches up with Seattle well on either side of the ball at all. but it's the playoffs and anything can happen.

The Saints specialize stretching the field - and it just so happens Seattle's defense is awesome sideline to sideline and vertically too.

The most impressive thing to me last game was the LB corps.

What's going on with all the Saints injuries? Who got hurt yesterday that's crucial to the Saints? Pierre? Sproles? Defensive players?

Pierre may be back. Keenan Lewis looks to have suffered a concussion so who knows. He's our best corner by far. Kenny Vaccaro was our best safety and he's out for the season. His replacement Harper was the guy that tripped over himself on the Cooper touchdown.

Jeez, Harper, that was absurd. Had a line on the ball too.

We know the Seahawks will not see the same gameplan from the Saints again. What to expect?

- Let's say Pierre returns - do we see a large dose of Ingram again?

- Why so little Sproles?

- A variety of coverages handled Graham. The LBers, especially Wright, seemed to handle him just fine.

- Ingram saw 4 targets vs PHI - I was pretty excited to see this, of course they weren't as effective as when Pierre gets the screen.

- The Saints line was dominated by Seattle's front last game. Is there any fix in terms of formations or playcalling that could change this? Biggest change so far is Armstead.

- Have to stop Lynch again. But nothing changes if Wilson is allowed to romp free again, he constantly rolled out to great effect, pretty much every receiver seemed open when thrown to. Seemed like a lot of read option used to great effect.

- The last game was the worst offensive and defensive performance of Payton's coaching career/ Does this really happen again?

- In terms of silver lining Cincy just lost and they had an even better home record than SEA (8-0 to 7-1).

On the Seahawks side, I think we will see a lot of the same as before.

- Wilson was lights out fantastic. What the Seahawks fans said was true and it's borne out in the stats, he's elite at home. The most impressive throw was the one over the middle to Baldwin, fantastic touch, beautiful throw. Really, it looked like the Seahawks could have driven for a score on every drive if they had wanted to.

- Harvin: to me the biggest factor here is KO and punt returns, Big problem. - On offense, I have no idea, he could be awesome; or maybe working him in will be almost like it's his first game back. I don't know the chemistry will be there and it may just disrupt their usual flow. Hopeful thinking maybe, it's just not a given to me he will be a superstar out the gate.

- What happened at San Fran and AZ? Thoughts? The Saints beat both of these teams. Seattle had very little motivation vs the Cardinals, they only had to win one of their last two and the Cards were playing for their playoff lives. Add in that I think the Cardinals are the third best team in the NFC, and it was a recipe for a home loss. People look too deep into that game, Cards are a great team and had everything on the line while the Seahawks were just out there going through the motions with base offense.

Harvin is a complete unknown, I don't think anyone can predict what he means to Seattle this week. If he's almost 100% and they can get him in space, he becomes an X factor. Seattle wins this game by running the football, playaction pass, adn great defense though, not with Harvin. Seattle's special teams are also rarely talked about, but consistently great.

It would appear running the ball is a key to competing with Seattle. SF and Arizona both had strong days on the ground when they beat the Seahawks. St Louis and Tampa each racked up 200 yards rushing in close Seattle victories. Can we do that? Probably not, but Ingram has certainly looked like a real back finally.

Vaccaro was a bigger loss to the Saints defense than Greer IMO. The timing sucked too, I think we would have pulled out the victory in carrolina if not for that because Jenkins and Harper pretty much blew it when he went out. Win or loose I think this is the end of the road for Roman Harper.

I have tons of respect for Brees. He can carry a team and pull off a win. Sure, I expect Seattle to win, but there are concerns. What the #### is going on with Harvin? I was surprised to see he made it through two consecutive practices. My worry is that he's going to be more of a distraction instead of a game changer. Time will tell. I'm also concerned with KJ Wright being out. He did a marvelous job on Graham last time. Not sure how they play him this time around. Probably more Chancellor.

Of course I'll be rooting for NO, but I think this is the Hawks year. Best team in the league with the best homefield advantage. Good luck, Hawks fans.

Should be an interesting game. The Saints showed their cards in December and the Seahawks showed theirs. Each team needs to adapt and anticipate the next move and Seattle has had a couple weeks to add wrinkles to their playbook.

I'm also interested in whether the Harvin talk has been gamesmanship or if he's really close to playing. Part of me has to think they wouldn't waste a postseason roster spot on a decoy, and part of me thinks that would be exactly what I would want someone to think if I threw Harvin out there.

Anyway, like I said--it should be an interesting game.
