New Orleans WRs (1 Viewer)

Colston and Moore both looked like they had a good match up last week and neither really did much. I know Shockey and Bush were involved in the passing game. But is there anything wrong with the NO WRs? Can any homers or anyone in the know chime in?

They game planned for the run, and executed. Atlanta did a decent job in coverage, but Colston had several bonehead drops. It was mostly the fact that they wanted to run the ball, and we didn't exactly sway them from the decision.

Makes sense. Having both these guys on a fantasy team has been maddening.

In addition to drops, Colston had one nice gainer called back on oline holding and another one where his toe was out of bounds. He was targeted well.. Moore may lose some looks as Bush will run some of the same routes that Moore had to himself before..

I will never waste a high draft pick on a Saints receiver again.

A-#######-men!I will add that to my draft day mental notes along with that old chestnut:I will never waste a high draft pick on a Broncos running back again.

In a 12 team start 3 WRs that by week 15 there are not alot of WR options out there. So just hoping for a bone now and then for Lance.

I'm to the point where I told my wife to go ahead and decide which of these guys I'm starting this week. She has until Thursday to decide.

You know I wonder if Sean Payton ever thought about how teams like Atlanta, TB, Car all in their division can get by on just focusing their passing game on 1-2 guys and win more games than them? I just have to wonder how much extra practice time New Orleans needs to get like 5-6 guys running key routes and being in the right spot so they can "spread" the ball around. Maybe Sean needs to simplify things offensively work on execution then focus more on his D and tackling.

Colston has led team in targets last two weeks.
Unfortunately I don't play in a PPT league.
Targets == opportunities. They are a great predictor of future success/involvement, which I assume you are intersted in.
You have to look at TARGETS when thinking of WR value.Payton is an offensive mastermind when it comes to getting his players in ther right spots to make plays. With all the weapons this team there is a chance every week for your player to go off. Teams cannot contain this offense and for that reason I will keep starting L. Moore this year. I also will look at getting a NO WR each year if his value is right on my draft board. Take one look at what this team did to the supposed Packer pass defense.

Packers pass D only looks good because everyone runs on them :tinfoilhat:
