New RB Starters (rank'em) (1 Viewer)

1. Barlow-been around and coaches are high on him right now (but there is Blaylock)

2. Lundy-potential RBBC w/ Morency

3. M. Bell-is he going to stay the starter (plus Skeletor's in-season head games)

There isn't a lot of good information an any of these guys (a lot of speculation). But whenever you can get a starting RB at good value you have to give them a shot.

All have potential. Current order of value is probably M. Bell, W. Lundy, and Kevin Barlow.

M.Bell

Lundy

Barlow

I don't think anyone is foolish enough to have been sold on any of these guys as of yet. People are however sold on the "starting RB in Den" theory/model. This raises Bell's value significantly over the other 2 IMHO. Barlow gets the gutter spot due to the previous taste of poo he left in everyones mouth the past 2 years.

Barlow

Lundy

Bell

Barlow, while failing to live up to expectations, has been a 1,000 yard rusher in the NFL before. We already know he has the talent to get it done. Whether or not he will get it done again is another question.

I put Bell last because you just never know what is going on in the mind of Shanahan. I just don't trust him.

He just told me he feels the same way about you

I'd go

Bell - Skeletor is a pain in the ###, but he also has made many a unheard of back a stud. Mike Bell is the RB1 (has been for a bit). Some people are convinced that will change because Tatum IS a GREAT RB2 and in their mind that means he could be a RB1. NOT so. Tatum fits his skat back role well, and that is simply where he will stay. Mike Bell will start all year if healthy and fumble free.

<Insert Big Gap>

Barlow - He has the talent and has produced in the past. the question is how will this underachiever fare with a new hard line coach. He could go dog house from day 1 or Mag MIGHT get this guy to play to level. IF Barlow plays his best, he would be a nice starting RB gem at his current ADP.

Lundy - I put the rookie last. It starts with the fact that he is a rookie and he has 2 vet starters in the backfield. He is in a RBBC with at least 2, maybe 3 guys and it will be hard for him to hold them all off with mistake free football all year.

I know my Lundy feelings go against my feelings on Mike Bell, but I'm sure we can all agree that Mike has a much better team around him, and that makes the difference for me here. Pure production opportunity will be limited in both NY and Houston compared to in Denver.
