Vegetarians were twice as likely to have allergies, a 50 percent increase in heart attacks and a 50 percent increase in incidences of cancer.

Maybe these people will finally admit it was never about health, but about control and trying to feel morally superior to others.

Do we really need a study for that? I thought it was pretty obvious that people who don't get to enjoy a good steak or bacon have a lower quality of life

The study divides diets into categories such as "carnivorous diet rich in meat" and "carnivorous diet less rich in meat."

Did nobody tell them that they meant "omnivorous"?

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Nobody's talking about God-like powers here. We're just talking about tucking into a burger or two sometimes.

I guess that this report means that vegetarians...

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Just make sure you're getting your 7 servings of fruits and veggies.

For people who ate seven or more servings of fruits and vegetables per day, their risk of dying from any cause was reduced by 42%, compared to people who ate less than one serving per day. And their risk of dying from cancer and heart disease was reduced by 25% and 31%, respectively.
7 servings? how much is a serving? I just need to know how many oranges I need in my Blue Moon.

Smart. Grains and fruit all in one.

That is some hard hitting science there. People who eat fruits and vegetables are healthier compared to people that eat NO vegetables.

Judging from what manufacturers put on their packaged foods, a serving is about 0.25 ounces.
