This sounds like the next Unc Humuna FFA.we could do a hunt. http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1233761
Warsaw big map?
Africa 3 v 3? Or 2 v 2? The Japan, Canada, and Hawaii maps are all interesting. Looks like there's a new Indonesia map as well.
All of these look interesting to me. Africa is probably the best for a 3v3. Canada and Warsaw might be able to squeeze out a 3v3. The rest look like better 2v2 maps to me.Since we're just finishing up a 3v3 and we don't really have a map for a 4v4, let's go back to 2v2 for the next one. These are all good suggestions, I'll pick one out of a hat unless you folks would like to vote.Forgot about British Isles map. Could be fun.
How does a hunt work?we could do a hunt. http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1233761
You, me, fatguy, gaspumper and Dragons start a game. I surrender immediately, and you all accept my surrender at the start of the game. Then I send each of you a PM in the game (or here - it doesn't really matter)Fatguy - you are hunting gaspumperHow does a hunt work?we could do a hunt. http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1233761

There are a lot of maps that look cool that we haven't tried - the small country maps, the school campuses and the cities come to mind.Warsaw big map?Africa 3 v 3? Or 2 v 2? This sounds like a great variation to the basic "conquer all" format. We definitely need to get this going. You, me, fatguy, gaspumper and Dragons start a game. gaspumper - you are hunting Dragons
Dragons - you are hunting randall
randall - you are hunting fatguy
The winner of the game is not last man standing, but the one who gets the most kills. (If a tiebreaker is needed, the latest kill wins.) It doesn't matter if you do the killing or someone else accidentally does your work for you, you get credit for a kill when they guy you are hunting is eliminated from the game. At that point, you PM the moderator (me?) at FBG or elsewhere and I give you the next name - the name of the guy that your prey was hunting. So if you killed fatguy off, then you would now be hunting gaspumper. And so on.
You'll still get conflict - in the game I linked, there are ten-army neutrals everywhere with 200 army wastelands and everyone gets 20 income and 35 army reinforcement cards to convince them to move around a little, and the result has been people bumping into each other in the fog, people fighting to get a worthless little three army bonus, and all kinds of other poor tactics. I haven't actually seen anyone get killed yet, but it seems like a fun variant.

I've played a few campus maps and didn't enjoy a single game on them.

I played a game on the New York City map, it was fun. Agree that the campus ones suck.'Uncle Humuna said:There are a lot of maps that look cool that we haven't tried - the small country maps, the school campuses and the cities come to mind.'Dragons said:'Tick said:Warsaw big map?'Aerial Assault said:Africa 3 v 3? One seat on one team is taken. I'll give it about another 30min or so to see if anyone here can join.Anyone up for a 2v2 on Medium Earth (http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1256924)? It's an Auto Game with fairly generic settings. If we get 4 takers sooner rather than later, we can make it a FBG 2v2. Otherwise, me and the first one to respond can take on whichever 2 random schmucks come along.![]()

Thanks AA. Will take you up on it once I decide on a format worthy of the big "X".BTW, Humuna, if you want to start up UNC X or whatever, PM me and we can discuss the settings you want, and I'll set it up for you.
Just joined the biggest cluster ##### of all time.Big U.S., full dist, no limit on terrs, multi-attack.Teams of 2.Looking for a partner:http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1259990Team K![]()
I posted in the thread that I would take over Blue Precision's list after he buys a subscription, but I thought I should also offer the same challenge to the FBG's who haven't joined.First to win 4 games wins. Loser immediately pays for a subscription. We'll play using the Strategic 1v1 template, which is the format used for ladder games. Here's the deal, I love the ladder but do think it is in need of an injection of talent. This thread is really a call out to the uber-talented non-members like Heyhuihei, Gnomia, etc to fork over the $30 and join. If any talented player is debating on getting a membership already, here's a little bit of incentive:
I have committed to buying someone a membership out of sheer good will, but only one. Here's the rub, I'm not just giving it away. Any player who wants to can challenge me to a best of seven series of strategic 1 vs 1 matches. Should this person win 4 before I do, then I will pay for their membership immediately. Should I beat them, however, they will have to immediately buy one for themselves. This will be an open and extending challenge until someone is successful. In addition, I will play one person and one game at a time. If there is multiple challengers then I will begin with who I deem to be the most worthy. There is obviously an honor code here which is why sketchy characters or players with unrealistic chances will not be taken seriously.
Good luck to anyone who wants the challenge.
I hope it's been fixed - full distribution on big USA map used to cause a lockup of Warlight.Just joined the biggest cluster ##### of all time.Big U.S., full dist, no limit on terrs, multi-attack.Teams of 2.Looking for a partner:http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1259990Team K![]()
I'm in, though i'm quite nervous how that thing turns out. Full distribution with no limits on that big US map will make the first few turns a bit of a headache.
