I just joined a 10 team IDP with pretty crazy scoring. Starting lineup 1 Qb 1 Rb 1k 1st unit 5 flex Rb/Wr/Te full 11 starting defense run either 3-4 or 4-3

Scoring all Td are 10 pts defense or offense Qb 5 pts at 250 yds then 1 pt every 10 yds after. Tackles are 1 pt Sacks are 10pts! Int are 12 pts safety gets you 20 pts!! Half sack 5 pts. Rb and Wr typical 1pt per 10 yds rush or recieving 1pt ppr but Te gets 2pt PPR!

Crazy scoring how would you guys attack this league you could actually decide to be a defensive team and you could compete. JJ watt was the #3 overall scorer in this league last yr

25 Rd draft 32 man active roster 3 man IR. HELL YOU GOTTA ADD $3 TO POT FOR EACH LOSS

That is really low on tackles. Going to have to treat it as a big play league for the IDP side. In general though, I would mostly treat it the same. The fact that Watt was 3rd doesn't necissarily mean IDPs are inflated. Watt has been that dominant.

The scoring makes DBs even more of a crapshoot that they already were. I would probably invest nothing in DBs and churn them for whatever is working.

IMO, you should first be going after heavy TD scoring offensive players; a top tier QB, RB, WRs, etc. Don't worry with your slot receivers. I'd focus on the offensive side until a several IDPs come off the board. For LBs, you're looking for your high sack guys like Justin Houston - the outside 3-4 edge rushers, For DL, pick only 4-3 DEs unless you can get Watt but you'll have to pick him extremely early to get him.. For S I'd think you'd want more of a ball hawking FS over an in-the-box SS.

At 2PPR for TEs, Gronk would definitely be worth a 1st rd pick if you can get him. I'd still focus on offense early on and often though. Good luck.
