Between the Kaepernick "story," constant rumours and people trying to make a name for themselves there seems to be a lot bad information floating around. I know that TMZ should always be looked at with a grain of salt and that on the other end of the spectrum there's smart people who sometimes just miss on a evaluation or projection, it happens. I've also heard Cecil and other media guys talk about how teams have puppet reporters that just say whatever they're told to say. What I'm wondering is who in the NFL media (or general media) do you not trust or dislike most of their opinions?

I will start the list with Skip Bayless. I've only hear maybe a handful of his takes but it's clearly just for show that I can't listen anymore.

I thought everyone knew Bayless and his show was the WWE version of sports news? Kinda like Fox "news". Do people really consider them legitimate news sources? :coffee:

in one article. the rest is gravy
yeah bad call there, shame one bad call wrecks a nice career in your mind. Good thing every other NFL writer is correct 100% of the time
She is pretty bad from what I've seen.

Nothing really ever insightful or groundbreaking.

that article was written this past season... which in of itself is a disgrace... elite? campbell? come on...

but like I said, that's just the cat's meow of her "career"... she's a muppet. stale news that is told by 100 other sources at the same time or earlier.

never any "real" insight. I dont think she's terrible, but imo, as a Browns fan... not worth following if you want in depth/breaking news

she's useful in that you know whatever she says comes straight from the Browns. right now, for instance, the Browns want teams to think they're interested in Carr.

Hey Guys.

Time out. This is an ok topic here but as sources and context matter a ton. But this isn't going to be a torchfest.

Changing the topic here and I'm going to close this thread and start another one that I think is much better and way more helpful.

List a reporter or reporters you like or disagree with. BUT then specifically state why you think what you think. It's the same thing I hated the "Kaepernick is a punk but I don't have anything specific to back that up with"

If you love Adam Schefter because he was early and accurate with a bit on Tom Brady. Say it. If you don't like Jason LaCanfora because he was wrong about a story on Tom Brady, say that. But if all you've got is "this guy is terrible" or "that guy's awesome" save it for another board.

J
