NFC Championship Game - Philadelphia Eagles at Arizona Cardinals (1 Viewer)

Warner just guaranteed his hall of fame spot with that drive, if there was any doubt

Plenty of time, thrown high, but dropped. Thrown well, caught by Jackson short of the first down. Thrown well, caught by Celek in the open field. Thrown high, caught by Westbrook. Thrown short, way behind Baskett and he slips. Thrown high, missed. Thrown behind the receiver, dropped. Thrown fine, dropped by Curtis.

Would better receivers have helped? Probably. But that was not a great two minute drill.

Congrats Cards.

McNabb sucks.
Yeah well I hope there's enough of you Eagles fans out there to drive him out so that he goes somewhere else and wins a SB. And then maybe you'll wake up one day and realize maybe you should have provided the guy with some talent catching the ball and a better offensive line throughout his career. You don't deserve this guy.

vintage mcnabb. cant wait to hear the mcnabb apologists after this one

FWIW, the 4th down pass by McNabb was spot on. Curtis probably should have come down with that ball (certainly if hes not interfered with by Hood). Typical of McNabb's entire career that he will be blamed for the Eagles not winning this game when he led them right down to the wire.

stick to politics timmy. "Talent" could not have done anything with those horrible passes

Could of been pass interference but could of also had offensive holding, they just showed a replay that had the eagles center or guard arms wrapped around a cards defensive lineman's neck from behind.

Not like the Eagles D did McNabb any favors today.

That one by Baskett wasn't dropped. It was so far behind him he barely got the tip of one finger on it.The last one however, was dropped.

Too bad he only showed up for a half of football. It's not all on him - the defense was completely outplayed for the first half too, but you're kidding yourself if you're trying to cast McNabb as some sort of hero whose teammates let him down.

Great QBs make good receivers better. He can throw to DeSean, Curtis, Westy, and two good tight ends.

Well, to be fair, if he hadn't made horrible throws on a couple easy passes on the two plays before that then that 4th and 10 never would have come up.Not to mention all the easy throws he missed earlier. It was a team loss, but Mcnabb certainly did his part in it, if not more.

Question : why run the clock down there and call timeout before the punt? Why not run the punt team out and snap with :01 on the play clock so the clock continues to run through the snap and the punt? Kick it out of of bounds, but you get :05-:06 more seconds off the clock there?

There's no apology needed. McNabb was great in the 2nd half today. He wasn't great in the last drive, but he was the last four drives before that. The Eagle defense let him down. McNabb is one of the great NFL quarterbacks.
