It's Philadelphia. We'd hear that even if Reid and/or McNabb won the Super Bowl and achieved peace in the Middle East.So if Eagles lose badly do we start hearing the "Reid and/or McNabb have to go" talk again?

Yeah Brown is simply awful. I don't even think he's in the league next year. He's a WR6/7 on most teams.please, Brown needs to go find Freddie and hang out for the rest of his career. Doesnt matter who is at WR if the throw is 3 yds behind themI can't believe we bench R brown for baskett , avant , lewis . pathetic.
He admitted that the ball did not hit out of bounds after touching a player (which was the ruling on the field). He said nothing about whether or not it hit the player while he was out of bounds (which was not what was ruled on the field, otherwise the ball would've been placed on the 40, not the 25).Really the refs screwed up two parts of their ruling on the field. They said the ball hit the Philly player on the way down (clearly it did not, it hit him after the bounce) and they said that the ball landed out of bounds (again, clearly it didn't).A monkey could tell you the actual ruling on the field was way wrong. The thing being argued is which of the two possible outcomes after that was correct.Officials supervisor just admitted to Fox crew that they f'd up the kick off call..
If I were fortunate enough to spend 5 minutes or 20 years around Brown, my life would be better for it.Brown needs to go find Freddie and hang out for the rest of his career.
Hows that short memory working for you ??? brown was our best wr up to last year before the injuries.please, Brown needs to go find Freddie and hang out for the rest of his career. Doesnt matter who is at WR if the throw is 3 yds behind themI can't believe we bench R brown for baskett , avant , lewis . pathetic.
if a ball touches a player while the player is out of bounds, the ball is dead at that spot. you dont have to have control of it. I saw a KR screw up inside the 2 once by touching the ball while his foot was on the line. Ball was dead at the 2.Refs messed up the call...but it seemed pretty clear it hit the player while HE was out of bounds. It should have been Philly ball at the 40.
DMac? Big Mac? I'm hungry.I agree with that, but it's hard to put this entirely on DMac. The defense has been terrible to this point. That said, I don't think this game is over by any means. This Philly Offense can certainly put up 20 points on this Cardinal Defense in a half if the defense can play even remotely close to it's potential.agreed. but this should be a close, high scoring, game right now. If McNabb makes 2 more accurate throws, this is a 1 score gameCome on BK. McNabb and the O have been less then stellar, but the Defense is choking away the game. We've only had four possessions!hey, looks like mcnabb is being a true leader...he's taught the whole team how to choke![]()
True...but one critical differance on a kickoff is that if the player is out of bounds when he first touches it, it's a penalty for illegal kickoff. The ruling on the field doesn't have to say the ball hit a player, just that the ball was ruled out of bounds. The ball is ruled out of bounds when it touches the ground out of bounds or when it touches a player who is out of bounds. Two senerios same ruling - ball is out of bounds.Judging from the fact that more than half the folks here are saying it didn't, and the burden of proof on review would be to prove CONCLUSIVELY that it did (since the ruling on the field said nothing about it hitting a player out of bounds) you are incorrect. It hit the player's elbow clearly. Sorry but you're wrong. Eagles ball.
I been with the panel of Reid should give up some of his duties. Still with it.So if Eagles lose badly do we start hearing the "Reid and/or McNabb have to go" talk again?

What?
Mrs Brown, is that you? They should wear numbers.Who are these hair farmers?
The perfect illustration was when Baskett released over the middle and was wide open. If McNabb hits him remotely in stride he would have gone for at least 30 more yards. Instead he throws it at his feet and he catches it for a 9 yard gain. McNabb has been throwing at WR's feet his whole career.agreed. but this should be a close, high scoring, game right now. Truth. It's Philadelphia. We'd hear that even if Reid and/or McNabb won the Super Bowl and achieved peace in the Middle East.So if Eagles lose badly do we start hearing the "Reid and/or McNabb have to go" talk again?
Uh, no he wasn't. He was WR1 by default. On a team that passes 70% of the time. Brown has always been a below average WR, and never been "good".Hows that short memory working for you ??? brown was our best wr up to last year before the injuries.please, Brown needs to go find Freddie and hang out for the rest of his career. no, seriously, 61 catches and 4TDs in '07 as a #1 WR is what you want?Hows that short memory working for you ??? brown was our best wr up to last year before the injuries.please, Brown needs to go find Freddie and hang out for the rest of his career. No but it upsets me to see bums like avant baskett lewis on the field.Hows that short memory working for you ??? brown was our best wr up to last year before the injuries.please, Brown needs to go find Freddie and hang out for the rest of his career. when do we see Mrs Warner in a tight red sweater???

you're insane, Avant does nothing but make huge catches. baskett can get a big play, and lewis, well yeah that midget should be delivering meat with icky WoodsNo but it upsets me to see bums like avant baskett lewis on the field.Hows that short memory working for you ??? brown was our best wr up to last year before the injuries.please, Brown needs to go find Freddie and hang out for the rest of his career. its pretty simple actuallyfitz, boldin, and Breaston= Holt, Bruce, and HakimWarner's been absolutely masterful so far. How he managed to recover his 1999-2001 form I have no idea but that first half was a clinic.

My impression of the Eagles halftime speech:
"So ummmm, who's got # 11?"

uh he is a DT...well formerWOW, is Klecko fat.
You have absolutely no concept of what is going on here. The part that is being argued, whether or not it hit the Philly player while he was standing out of bounds AFTER THE BOUNCE, was never ruled on on the field. The officials said that the play was already over by the time that had happened (thinking the ball hit out of bounds on its way down), so they never made a ruling on that part. And that's the really tricky part, there was never any ruling made about whether or not the ball hit the Philly player's elbow, because the refs had already assumed the play dead by that point, so they would've had to make a ruling without conclusive evidence because there was no initial call made on the field in regards to that question. The conclusive part was that the ball did not initially hit out of bounds, what happened after that would have had to have been figured out from scratch with no prior ruling about it.The ruling on the field doesn't have to say the ball hit a player, just that the ball was ruled out of bounds. It hit the player's elbow clearly. say what you want . brown should be playing and involved.Avant making a great catch...hmmm, would've rather seem Reggie Brown stumble and never get to that one
Takes a lot to overthrow Kevin Curtis... and to make sure it won't count by placing the ball 4 yards out of bounds.Geez, how many balls has McNabb overthrown today?
FixedMcNabb overthrows another open WR. He is awful today in the biggest games.
And so it goes...Philly has no answer for Fitz and Boldin, and the offense is not clicking at all. Zona D is going to tee off on McNabb all 2nd half and it's going to just get uglier with sacks and INTs. Philly has no WRs to lead a comeback.IMO this game is OVAH!What does PHI have on OFF they can use to catch up here? Their WRs are a bit outmatched by ARI's secondary.
You dont get out of Shttsburgh much do you?I doubt that. Nobody cares about the Eagles outside the Philly area.uh yeah, thats what you do when you're in the Champ game. Book refundable airfare and hotels. If you wait til after the game, you'll never get there. That's interesting, all I all heard on the radio in Phoenix this week was how Philly fans were already booking flights to Tampa and not to Arizona. I hope the Philly players are looking forward to next week too..........NFLN just showed some tailgaters in ARI and it was a sea of green. Sapp even commented "Wow, philly fans travel like college fans" Take over the UFO Dome![]()
Its like these Cards fans have never been in this position...oh yeah, never mindAnyway, what the #### does my post have to do about booking flights to Tampa. I"M SAYING THE EAGLES FANS WILL TAKE OVER YOUR UGLY, ALIEN STADIUM
Yes I can see the sea of green at Phoenix Stadium
24-6 and another turnover by McChoke. I'm loving this.
