NFC Championship Game - Philadelphia Eagles at Arizona Cardinals (1 Viewer)

Right now, the biggest play in the game is the 3rd down on Arizona's first possession of the second half. Following the McNabb fumble, the Cardinals could have put a stranglehold on the game, but a Philly defender got just enough pressure on Warner to get him to overthrow a wide open Boldin who could have made a huge gain and maybe even scored.
I think the blown call on the kickoff in the first half, when the Cards offense was hitting on all cylinders, was bigger.
The one that cost the Eagles ten yards!????????

Win lose or draw. Donnie Mac is doing it on the road on the big stage.

24-38, 342, 3TD, 1 pick. Perfect rating in the second half.

Be nice to have a 27-24 score here. Akers, you stink today!

That is why kicking the XP was correct, both times, earlier. Had Akers not missed a freaking XP, it would be 27-24 right now, not 25-24.
And I still disagree with the idea that a chance to take a 3 point lead is more important than cutting your deficit to 3 points with 16 minutes left in the game.

Except that, had they been able to review it, it would have only hurt the Cardinals more than the call on the field did (they'd have lost 15 yards of field position)

am i the only one seeing the Eagles DL getting tackled by the Ari OL? Do the res not feel that these warrant some sort of penalty

There's been a ton of big plays in this game. The two biggest were the trick TD pass to Fitzgerald in the first half, and the acrobatic catch by Jackson in the 2nd.

Gotta go for it at this point in the game. Your kicking game is struggling, your D has been on the field way too long, and you desperately need a spark. Go.
