I'll go with the favorites, but I like the Giants' chances better than I do the Redskins'.

I think the Redskins have a great chance in upsetting the Seahawks.

In the Tampa Bay/Giants game, I look for Tampa Bay to win this one easily. The Giants played their hearts out against the Patriots and in all likelihood will have a let down, similar to how the Baltimore Ravens played the week after almost beating the Patriots. I could be wrong.

If the Gmen come to play, and Eli can limit his mistakes, I see them going into TB and taking it.

Seattle has a nice quiet team that is solid across the board. I see their balanced attack being able to put up 25+ and they should be moving on to the next round.

I like the road teams here too, especially the Giants. I think the 'Skins have a huge test at Seattle, but what should give the Seahawks pause is that I think the advantage both in running on offense and stopping the run on defense is with the Redskins, and that means a lot in the playoffs.

Drop the east coast bias, the skins are not that good and will be traveling across the country to the loudest home field crowd in the league.

And Seattle can't run the football. If the Redskins dominate TOP that Seahawk defense is going to get tired. Either way it should be a pretty good game. I'm very excited about all of the playoff matchups this year.

Ask Minnesota fans how that crowd noise helped them. It won't be that loud when the 'Skins get an early lead. :lmao:

I think the Bucs win by at least 10 over the Giants.

Seattle/Washington is a tough pick. Hasselbeck (who has been underrated for years) has been awesome this year, but their running game is unreliable. Meanwhile, Washington's running game has been on fire, but I have a hard time picking Todd Collins to win on the road in the playoffs, but you never know. Washington has the emotion going right now, but Seattle has home field. I think the Seahawks are the better team, but the more I think about it, the more I have a hunch that the Redskins will somehow win it.

:goodposting: much?I don't have bias towards either team, I just think the Skins are playing better right now than the Hawks. The Hawks were very blessed in terms of schedule this year, I would say. It is hard to pick them right now, given their lack of quality wins (IMO). Tampa is their best win this year and only win over a playoff team. The only other playoff team they played was Pitt, and they lost that one handily. The Skins, have not been impressive either, but in the last 4 weeks they have beaten 4 winning teams (2 playoff teams, though the 'boys barely count yesterday). It is not that unreasonable a prediction.

Dumb post. Skins are very good and will knock the Bags out of the playoffs..Loud crowd so what. Didn't stop them in Minny.

Seattle's not nearly as loud since they moved out of the Kingdome.

Link? This Colts fan would argue that point.

What makes you think the Seahawks are any better? The Skins are 1 of 3 teams from their own division in the playoffs.

Seattle opponents have led the league the last couple years(iirc) in false starts due to crowd noise. The fans keep tally. It's VERY loud.

From Another "who will win in the playoffs" thread:

Skins 24-17

- Collins proves serviceable again, SMoss has a couple breathtaking receptions, Randle El does something good, and Portis seals the deal

POTG: Portis

Giants 20-13

- Eli makes some mistakes early, but Plaxico shows us that he can be an elite WR, Jacobs doesn't get many yards, but makes a couple tough drive sustaining runs as the Giants win a squeeker, but we all decide they have no chance in round 2

POTG: Plaxico
So in this one, I'll say Seahawks and Bucs. You know, to be right no matter what.

The Seahawks have zero chance ( No running game and avaraged defense ) they are lucky to be in the playoffs ( They are the best of the bad teams of there division).

Giants and Bucs will be low scoring ( The Bucs are sooo boring to watch ) i say Bucs because of the D , 16 - 13 .
