NFL Color Rush Jerseys for TNF (1 Viewer)

All white uniforms. COLOR RUSH!
:lmao: This is total BS. The Cowboys look almost normal, while the Jags looked like giant mustard bottles. Wow - the NFL aint playing favorites or anything. Good gravy.
The NFL also realizes the idiocy of this...

...what if you have two blue teams play each other? Or two red teams? Two green teams? It's going to happen again.

So will the Vikings look like big grapes?
Not this year. They were not one of the eight teams selected.
But isn't the plan to outfit every team with a Color Rush option for 2016? Not sure they'll actually wear them...
What I heard is the league is looking at doing this color rush thing for all Thursday games in 2016. Therefore, it is a good chance the Vikings will have a color rush uniform.

It should be noted here that the Titans and Panthers color rush uniforms were not outrageous. They used their regular jersey but just added pants of the same color. It was the Bills, Jets (a lighter shade), Jaguars and Rams who have different colored jerseys. (I am not sure what the Buccaneers are doing).

Interesting. I had kind of assumed they weren't doing it for, for example, GB vs Detroit because those teams (GB especially) have had a consistent, traditional uniform design, and there was no interest among their fan base for going all color wacky. But maybe I supposed wrong?

Incidentally, here are the teams I have zero interest in seeing Color Rush uniforms for:

Packers -- one of the more iconic uniforms in sports. Almost on par with Yankee pinstripes

Pats -- took them awhile to get where they are, but at this point they should just stick with it

Colts -- best "simple" uniforms this side of Penn State

Steelers -- not counting the throwbacks, which are awful in their own right. But that's still different from screwing around with an iconic uniform

49ers -- I know they already used the black unis in Week 1. They weren't horrible, but I wasn't a fan.

Washington -- I seem to recall an MNF game a few years ago vs Pittsburgh where they went monochromatic burgundy. Singed my eyeballs.

San Diego -- given that everyone loves the baby blue jerseys, it boggles my mind that they haven't switched to that full-time. Still, wouldn't want to see matching pants.

I'm going to let him figure it out.

Is there something we miss by viewing this uni's on TV? What I mean by that - take NASCAR for example - the cars look colorful enough on TV but if you actually see them with your own eyes you realize that they are all day-glow colors that really pop to the naked eye.

Were these NFL uni's crafted in the same manner, or are they just trying to add some weird excitement into bad football games?

The Bucs have a reflective trim that's more visible in person, but that's their inline jerseys...nothing special on these I don't think.

Agree!

Why is the league pushing this? It just seems like another change that degrades the viewing experience:

1. Most of the jerseys are a pretty dramatic change from the teams' branded looks.

2. It is very hard to immediately recognize the teams playing (Buffalo and Tampa are both all red).

3. Makes it hard is some cases to read numbers (Tamps jerseys last nite).

This is another fail by the league IMO. It is getting easier to just avoid watching these Thursday games altogether.
