I am in a 17 week NFL Daily Fantasy League. It is on DraftKings with 40 teams. Each week you submit a new roster with a $50K salary cap. It pays out weekly and at the end of the season. Most of the prize money is paid out at the year-end. WInning a week gets you half of your entry fee back but winning the season returns almost 9x your entry fee.
Based on the payout structure, it seems to me the best strategy is to spend a little to get a 3 or 4 top/steady performers each week and fill in the rest of my roster with high upside players.
I was wondering if anyone else was in a similar league and could provide some advice/strategy on how to best use the tools here to set my lineup each week.
