another draft predicting the Bears to win it all!!!http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/mockdraft.html

It's from over a month ago...before the 49ers decide to start playing defense. They definitely won't have the 2nd pick.49ers at 2?
Rice = Spurrier WR = Florida WR =Although the mocks are MUCH too early (if only for positioning), some nice "pairings" are out there for Dynasty owners. As someone who needs some upgrades in my league requiring IDP's, there appears to be some talent at DL and LB (though finding multiple high producing DL's in 1 draft is tough). On the "O" side - Johnson in SF, Peterson in GB, Lynch with the Jets, Brohm in TB (though I think Gradkowski is the answer if the O-line is upgraded) and Rice in SD all sound interesting right now.
Not that I completely disagree with that thought, I have been more impressed with Rice than most. Also, I am not completely sold on any of the current Charger receivers. There is potential there, but none of them have stepped up completely yet.Rice = Spurrier WR = Florida WR =Although the mocks are MUCH too early (if only for positioning), some nice "pairings" are out there for Dynasty owners. You really think Gradkowski is the answer? He has had one good game (his very first start), and then subsequently gone on to play progressively worse and continue to average nearly two turnovers per game.I understand he's a rookie, but I don't have much confidence in his talent level to develop into anything more than a spot starter.Brohm in TB (though I think Gradkowski is the answer if the O-line is upgraded)
I agree he's talented, but come hell or high water, Rice will not be on my roster. After the great chances I've taken over the years on Hilliard, Gaffney, Travis Taylor (yuck), and Jacobs, I've had enough of the "Old ball coache's" WRs.Not that I completely disagree with that thought, I have been more impressed with Rice than most. Tough to tell with a banged up OLine and a pathetic D. Everybody knows he's throwing by the 2nd half. gruden did well with Feeley in Philly, Gannon in Oakland and was doing ok with Simms. I think they would wait a year before grabbing another QB early. You really think Gradkowski is the answer? I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but yes I do. He has been hampered by poor receiver and line play. In addition, I agree he has made some bad decisions, but no worse than other rookies starting early in their career. He has a good pocket presence, a decent to good arm and has a good grasp of the offense considering how long he has been in the system. I think the Bucs need to re-tool the line to help C. Williams , plus get another playmaker at WR (Clayton/Stovall aren't the answers and Galloway is on the way down). Though Brohm MAY be an upgrade, that isn't their primary need and I am personally convinced he would be any better in that offense. Time will tell though. You really think Gradkowski is the answer? Explain this comment. How exactly should they be "stepping up"?I am not completely sold on any of the current Charger receivers. There is potential there, but none of them have stepped up completely yet.
E. Parker has been a decent possession receiver, while V. Jackson and Floyd have been inconsistent IMO. Look, maybe I had higher hopes for that group (based on potential and measurables), but I haven't been overly impressed with them this year. Of course, with the way the Chargers are winning, I don't think they care what I think.Explain this comment. I've seen nothing that refutes my belief that Gruden (or anyone else making draft decisions for the Bucs) will simply not go balls-out in beefing up their offensive line. Hell, they should use a couple drafts worth of picks there!!I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but yes I do. He has been hampered by poor receiver and line play. And you are probably correct. Maybe you can tell me what I am missing with the Chargers receivers?Explain this comment. First of all, I'm not a Charger homer either.I don't think the Charger WRs have been inconsistent, but rather they are all role players who aren't expected to carry the load offensively. LT and Gates are options 1 and 2. McCardell and Parker (when healthy) move the chains when needed, and Jackson and Floyd (again, when healthy) become options in the red zone. At least this is what it appears to me.And you are probably correct. Maybe you can tell me what I am missing with the Chargers receivers?Explain this comment. You pretty much nailed it. Just because one of them is not racking up 100 catches does not mean they are inconsistent or not stepping up. The comparison to the Patriots is pretty good except they weren't competing for catches with one of the best receiving backs in league history and two more-than-capable TEs. There are just too many options on this team (including an extremely potent running game) for one guy to stand out.First of all, I'm not a Charger homer either.I don't think the Charger WRs have been inconsistent, but rather they are all role players who aren't expected to carry the load offensively. I could see the Giants signing a guy like Ladell Betts to pair with Jacobs in a RBBC for next season. This is assuming Betts doesn't get exposed as not very good down the stretch this season and does fairly well.If NYG decides to draft a back to replace Barber to team with Jacobs....K. Irons would be a decent choice and likely will be available in the late teens to early 20's where they will probably be choosing. I kind of think that is a bit high for him myself, but the Giants may feel the need if they cannot find a decent free agent to go along with Jacobs. I highly doubt he is a Pittsburgh kind of guy as is projected in this mock.It will be interesting to see where Michael Bush will be drafted as well.
Bush was a Jr, no? He'll probably go back to school. If NYG decides to draft a back to replace Barber to team with Jacobs....K. Just cant see them picking up a back like Irons. He's not in the mold of Tiki and the Giants have a much more powerful back in Jacobs. Irons has not been impressive or special this year in a way to deserve a first round selection. Given their past record, I'd expect a lineman in the first round.Beetlejuice said:If NYG decides to draft a back to replace Barber to team with Jacobs....K. They only need a big LT and they'll be set for a decade.Hopefully they can get Joe Thomas or Levi Brown, but if not, Quinn Pit#### gets my vote.I've seen nothing that refutes my belief that Gruden (or anyone else making draft decisions for the Bucs) will simply not go balls-out in beefing up their offensive line. don't think you have to worry about him in this years draft as Sidney Rice says he is coming back to school. he will be a redshirt junior if he returns.Rice = Spurrier WR = Florida WR =Although the mocks are MUCH too early (if only for positioning), some nice "pairings" are out there for Dynasty owners. I'm certainly no expert, but Zbikowski has looked pretty bad all year. Overpowered on tackles, beaten in coverage. I can't see him going first round, and I thought I heard he was petitioning for a 5th year.Bump with an interesting take from DraftKing from 11/14:

Someone asked about no Lynch and he commented that he views him as a mid to late 1st, but doesn't see the teams that need a RB picking there, so he's early 2nd in his mock. I know its way too early to really break these things down, but theres a few picks in there that seem way off.Brohm to MIA with Cpep's contract on the books for the next few years and Harrington playing well will virutally guarantee they dont bring in a high salary there.Zbikowski to the Ravens with Reed locked up long-term and Landry playing very well. The absolutely huge Justin Blaylock (6'4, 340), going to a zone-blocking Atlanta team where the avg size on the OL is around 303lbs.Bump with an interesting take from DraftKing from 11/14:

I think we've got a Bud Carson situation here. When your team quits on your coach, you really have no choice but to fire him.I think Crennal has one more season... 2 is a little short. 3 years and no improvement GET THE HECK OUT!!!I agree about the "skill" position. Time to be NOT sexy and go with the Oline.
Didnt the Browns just spend like 90 million on a center and left tackle? And that mock sucks - the Browns need OL. STOP DRAFTING OFFENSIVE SKILL POSITION GUYS!
something like that, but...one is out for the season and my not play football againthe other is an average LT at bestOL is a position of needi don't care what we are spending on the line, it is apparently not enoughwe can not open holes in the running game, and we give poor Charlie zero time when he drops back to passJoe Montana in his prime couldn't survive playing behind our line, it really is that badDidnt the Browns just spend like 90 million on a center and left tackle? And that mock sucks - the Browns need OL. If Crennel gets fired, I'd expect a call from a certain grey-hooded sweatshirt wearing coach soon after....
