Footballguy
Guys,

I am running two contests this fall: Feel free to pass along to your buddies. If you decide to enter a contest please notify me via email before sending money. Both contests are limited to 50 and 35 ppl respectively. First come first serve. My email is tsmity99@aol.com

The first contest is an NFL TEAM SURVIVOR. $100 per entry-Winner takes the pot. Only 50 spots available. I am not looking to run a huge contest here. If you are looking for something larger I can direct you to a different contest via a friend.

Each week you pick a NFL team to win. If that team WINS you advance. A tie or a loss by your team = elimination. Once you pick that team you CAN NOT pick them again in the contest.

Weekly deadline for your pick is Saturday night at 10pm. The pick will be emailed to me. If you want to pick a team who plays on a Thursday or Saturday the deadline will always be the day before at 10pm. A spreadsheet with everyones picks will be emailed out by me before the first game each week. Early weeks games picks will be sent out as well beforehand.

If you miss the pick deadline and I send out the spreadsheet you are eliminated. NO EXCEPTIONS.

To ensure we only have 1 winner standing at the end: the following rules below apply

During weeks 1-12 of the contest-you will select 1 NFL team per week

During weeks 13-15 of the contest-you will have to select 2 NFL Teams per week

Dur ing weeks 16-17 of the contest-you will have=2 0to select 3 NFL teams per week

First 50 payments I get are in -Please send $100 check or $104 via paypal to tsmity99@aol.com (no credit cards accepted via paypal)

CONTEST 2-NFL PLAYER SURVIVOR (ONLY 27/35 SPOTS LEFT-First 8 people I spoke with have signed up already)

Cost is $300 and again it is a 35 player limit (This contest will be fully automated via a website-You will enter picks there every week and never be sending anything to me)

$300 entry game: The $300 game will have teams organized into five 7 team brackets. The website will pick the divisions randomly. The regular season will extend from NFL week 1 through NFL week 12. Each bracket winner plus 11 wildcard teams will advance to the week 13-16 single elimination NCAA style playoffs.

2. Available Players:

a. Prior to week 1 of the NFL regular season the Player Pool will be defined by me.This Player Pool will include approximately 500 NFL players that are on current NFL team rosters. All players will be assigned a position based on their official NFL designated position. In short, almost all players on an NFL team roster at the start of the NFL regular season at the positions of quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end and kicker will make up the official Player Pool. This=2 0Pl ayer Pool will also include all NFL Teams to be used in the team defense position.

b. Once Play Begins: After the start of the NFL regular season any player that is added to an NFL team roster will be added to the official Player Pool each Tuesday. The official stats vendor will determine these Player Pool additions. Any player in the Player Pool who has to-date not been started by a team manager is available to that team manager for their starting lineup. Once an NFL player has been started by a team manager that player is no longer available to that team manager to use in his starting lineups for the remainder of the regular season or the playoffs. Example If you use Ladanian Tomlinson in week 1, you can not use him again the rest of the season including the playoffs if you make it that far.

3. Weekly Play: Starting in NFL week 1, all team managers will fill out their starting lineup by selecting from the initial Player Pool of NFL players. After the start of the NFL regular season, if a player is added to an NFL team roster, they will be added to the official Player Pool and made available the following Tuesday. Beginning in NFL week 2 and for all successive NFL weeks, team managers will continue to select from the Player Pool any player they want as starters but will be unable to choose any NFL player that they have already used.

4. Lineups Requirements: Start ing lineups will consist of the following:

1 Quarterback

2 Running Backs

3 Wide Receivers

1 Tight End

1 Place Kicker

1 Team Defense/Special team

6. Lineup Submission: Lineups must be submitted via the website each week. This will be given out after the contest is full.

a. Submission Time: Starting players must be submitted into your starting lineup 10 minutes before their game kicks off.

b. Committed Starting Players: A starting player is considered "committed" to your lineup as of 10 minutes before their game kicks off. Non-committed players in a starting lineup can be changed up to 10 minutes prior to their game kicking off. For example, players committed by an team manager at kickoff of a Thursday game can not be changed, but the non-committed starting lineup players can be up until 10 minutes before t heir game kicks off (e.g. Sunday morning). This rule applies to non-committed players in a Monday night game also. For example, non-committed starting lineup players following Sunday’s games may be changed to another available player up until 10 minutes before kickoff of the Monday night game.

c. No Starters Submitted: It is the responsibility of each team manager to submit timely, valid starting lineups each week. Failure to submit a lineup will result in ze ro points.

a. Calculations: Scoring will be calculated out to the hundredth for all players (e.g. 23.15).
