NFL guys in business (1 Viewer)

I saw that Daniel Snyder has sold some amusement parks to Roger Staubach. Curious what other businesses NFL players/owners are in.

BTW referring to this

Six Flags Inc. has announced two major changes today.

The first of those changes comes with the plan to sell its Frontier City park and the adjacent White Water Bay water park. The park is owned by Six Flags, only not "flagged." Located in Oklahoma City, Frontier City has recieved few major additions under the Six Flags ownership.

The park is the first to be sold under Snyder's ownership and would be one of many changes under his direction. The park would be sold to Staubach Co. and their ownership would start in 2007.

Another big move Snyder has made is the announcement of the closure of the company's Oklahoma City offices. The company's offices will move to New York City

John Elway and Bart Starr are two very successful car dealership owners.Crawford Kerr owns a string of wing restaurants similiar to Hooters...called Wing House.Charlie Hannah is a successful home builder in Tampa.

LT used to have a restaurant in NJ. Joe Morris had a lacrosse team IIRC. As far as I know both are "done" for a long while

I think Elway, Marino and Montana were part owners of an athletic clothing line (along with several others from other sports).

Junior Seau has a restaurant I used to frequent regularly.

Rayfield Wright has a nutrition company.

Cliff Harris and Charlie Waters have a financial planning/insurance company.

Rephael Septien owns a RV park in the middle of the desert.

If I'm not mistaken, former Dolphins FB Rob Konrad started an asset management firm with a friend.

I also read an article on a current Dolphins player working in real estate with his wife in the offseason back in the fall. I finally found the article. It was Reggie Howard.

Forgot to mention Carl Banks and GIII, the outerwear manufacturer for the NFL (and Nascar, MLB, NCAA, NHL).

Really? Is Carl still working in a front office job in the NFL? He used to be a player personnel assistant or somesuch for the Skins.

I heard Vanderjagt on Letterman say he, Edge and Reggie Wayne owned a restaurant together.

Joe Theisman has a stakehouse in NOVA, and Shula's Steakhouse is very popular.

I don't think so, Bri. Carl is heavily involved with GIII and their NFL license. He started the company with the "extended size" guy in mind, and it has really taken off for him.

Theismann has a few restaurants in the Baltimore/DC area. They are AWFUL.
