NFL Network has already started coverage and have an impressive trio of Gruden, Mariucci and Mayock. Deion is ok, can definitely add some humor. Faulk is not necessary. Eisen is a good host.

ESPN will probably have TJ who is always solid. Steve Young? Horrible. Mort and Kiper are usually good. Berman kills them though.

I like to watch NFL Network for about the 1st 3 rounds because of Mayock, but Mayock admits that he doesn't do much scouting beyond his top 100. For the later portion I switch over to ESPN. Kiper knows at least a little on just about every prospect.

Flipping back and forth. Bit more NFLN

Erin Andrews is awful today. Just looks out of her element there for whatever reason.

ill dvr both , and will watch both networks 2 day broadcast complete over the next week. i prefer nflnets overall broadcast , because there are no interuptions with other sports stuff . but mel kipper is my favorite draft person . so ill probaly go back and forth . i guess ill try to catch kipper the most today so espn .

I was really looking forward to watching NFLN, but if Adam Schefter is not going to be on, I'll probably spend more time on ESPN..

Where is Adam???

:goodposting:

Wow, NFL Network's interface looks much slicker this year than last. And in HD too!

I'm watching ESPN b/c I don't have NFLN. I will say that I really like Keyshawn though. I'm sure most write him off as a knucklehead, but I think he's really good on TV and Radio.

Young's also good and I don't mind Kiper, so I have no problem with ESPN. I've learned to tune Berman out.

So the Denver/NO game is just ending right now on ESPN and it's a 1-point game. What would ESPN have done if this game had gone to OT and run through the start of the draft?

wow i wish i could change my vote . espn is not letting kipper talk much . nflnet is way better . mayock talks about the players the most because he knows the most . espn has young and berman do most the talking which is crap . they should have kipper and mcshay commenting as the main guys . im switching to nfl net the rest of today and tommorow . ill watch my espn dvr and fast through young and bermans blab to kippers comments . cant belive how bad espn has got over the last few years ...

ESPN is just terrible. I really wish I could get NFL Net on my TV instead of just on my computer.

Watched on ESPN because I had no choice, and they were HORRIBLE.

They'd be talking about a pick 5 minutes old when a new pick "came in", then go to commercial for 3 minutes, come back and talk about the same player they were discussing before the break...meanwhile yet another pick comes in and we still don't know who the previous pick was!

Horrible coverage after the first 15-20 picks. Confusing, and slow.

It was some very odd coverage.

Did anyone see the Big Head shots NFLN did at the end of the draft. Funniest thing I ever saw. Chucky looked 5 years old.

I don't normally like to criticize too much, but yea ESPN was pretty bad.

You would think they have this nailed down.

Picks being given away before they were announced.

Talking over the announcements

Picks being made while on commercial

Michael smith segment was just awkward

:lmao: I hate ESPN so much. Horrible coverage.

Feel bad for the folks who dont get NFL net. ESPN is just unwatchable. Between Berman and Young and Herm...ughh, just awful

Gruden and Mariucci are great up there for NFL net. And Mayock is the best in the biz at his thing.

I liked the NFLN better but can we please just ship Faulk over to espn so he and Young can battle every pick about what is more important a rb or a qb?

Very :goodposting: . I love listening to Gruden. He's honest but doesn't take it too seriously. Eisen is the same way. I loved his interview with Goodell and DeMaurice Smith. He asked tough questions but wasn't afraid to have a little fun with it.

Am I the only one who can't stand Trey Wingo?

Way too shticky the way he raises the volume at the end of EVERY sentence.

If you want to be a stand-up comedian, go be a stand-up comedian and get off of my TV.

No idea how Jamie Dukes continues to get work. He is awful.

Faulk is really awful too. He is a like a HS educated Emmitt Smif.

Had to change the channel even though I love Chucky and Mayock. Faulk and Dukes are just plain brutal. Cant stand either of them.

Jaws is the best in the biz in my opinion, even though he is a Cowboys hater.

Definitely not. He also need to remember to use his "inside voice." The constant yelling is really annoying.

That's what I mean by raising the volume at the end of every sentence. His statements start off calm and end with screaming. We get it... you're very hip and funny.
