I cant take my eyes off that stupid score board at the top of the screen. Its so freaking huge !! I have a 55" screen and I think the width of that damn thing has to be 3" and 54" long !

I'm bummed Comcast doesn't have it in HD. The picture sucks when they pan out. Close up it doesn't look that bad, but when they go to a wide shot it looks amatuerish.

Bryant Gumbel has to be the worst play by play announcer ever. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard. High Pitch Eric from the Stern show would be more enjoyable to listen to.

I have Comcast and found the game in HD on INHD channell.. picture looks pretty good!Gumbel sounds like a whiny tool though..

I have NFL Network and my info screen says that it should be the Broncos-Chiefs game. But when I go to the channel, it's some other programming and a message keeps scrolling across the top of the screen saying my cable provider has chosen not to broadcast the 8 primetime games?!

I do like Faulk as the sideline reporter though...very informative as far as what each team is trying to do out there strategy wise.

Anybody in Canada/Toronto getting black screen? I had the first 45 mins but now it's just black screen on both my TV's when I go to NFL Network!/ WTF?!

Who is your cable provider? And you aren't somewhere that it is being broadcast over the air, are you?
I get black screen on NFLN, but it's being broadcast on TSN.

I thought the same thing when I heard him at the start of the broadcast, but I thought we'd only have to put up with him for the intro, I didn't realise he'd be calling the whole game.

Nice job Canada....how professionally this was handled.
The first entire what...hour?....of the game was on NFL Network, as per normal.
Then it goes black, with no message on the bottom from my cable provider (Rogers Cable).
I call up, and they have a pre-recorded outgoing message saying that channel 419 is blacked out due to broadcast rights in Canada.
Turns out TSN in Canada has the rights because the game is on there. They better have ALL the THursday and Saturday games on.

This Gumbel is even more annoying than Dierdorf.
Just keeps repeating the same phrases....
"got em stacked up" and when a team gets the ball he says ,"and they're in business".....YIKES time to turn the volume off on these clowns.

It's actually one less game for people to see. At least if this was a local game on Sunday we could go to a bar and watch it so it's not like they're doing us any favors... couple that with the fact that it's on a net some people don't have AND on thanksgiving when most bars are closed.... I could wait till Sunday and watch the game on CBS, NBC or FOX. I agree about the complaining and usually refrain but this is bad... real bad... so dull and lifeless in the booth. That scoreboard is also very distracting.

The voice of reason chimes in. I have to agree with him, but the shut up part wasn't really necessary.Seemed like any other broadcast. The reason to watch is the game, not the announcers. If you need the announcers to enhance your experience then we watch for different reasons.Capella said:
