Out of tradition part of me wants to watch it on ESPN, but the other half thinks that the info will be better on NFL Net. Kipper> Mayock, Berman> Eisan. I'll be watching both.
You know what really bugs me about ESPN's coverage? It's not Kiper jr. I really don't mind him too much.
What bugs me is when Chris Berman (who has the answer too...) - gives coy little hints about who is going to be drafted as the commish walks up to the podium. Man, that bugs me...Let the commish say the guys name, a little suspense you know?
This probably bugs me too much - but for whatever reason...well, it bugs me.
Also, there should be an official title for the guy who takes over announcing players names in the second round. I am sure he has an official title for the job he has the other 363 days of the year - I'm sure his normal title is something like:
Assistant NFL Commisioner
or
Assistant to the NFL Commisioner
...But a draft specific title would be good. You know:

Absolutely! But the part the really gets me is he acts like he is some all knowing God that can predict all these things as if the viewer doesn't realize some $5/hour schmuck is giving him the answers in his ear. Berman is awful.
Which one doesn't have Melvin K on it? That will probably be my choice.
Although actually I'll probably watch it the same way I do games: with the volume real low so I can hear the crowd roar and know something happened and come back to the TV to check, but don't have to listen to all the gibberish.
DVR both of them so I can watch both in the time it takes to watch one by fast forwarding all commercials and fluff and to catch player analysis from both.
I find myself watching some very bad shows simply because they are in HD, so I will certainly be watching the draft in HD.If I had the option I would be watching both.
NFL Network. In Canada, TSN carries the draft, but they usually cut off early. Last year, I think we got it until 6pm. But this year, they're cutting off at 3pm for FREAKIN' HOCKEY!!!!!! You'll be lucky to get the Top Ten. Now I know why I didn't mind the lockout last year. NFL Network is saving the day, and I'll be re-subscribing to it just to watch the draft.
