NFL Network (1 Viewer)

Deion's obvious favoritism for T.O. and his old Baltimore D buddies is my only problem with the broadcast.

Papa and Faulk are fine.

after the days of McGuire, Theisman, and Patrick, anything else is Mozart.
Easily the most entertaining trio in years. Patrick has the perfect voice to call the NFL and the promotional skills to make a Cleveland-Oakland clash sound like the greatest game ever played. The two old biddies fighting it out was just entertaining background noise that made for a complete package.People are WAY too harsh. They were far more entertaining than anybody from the CBS Snooze Crew. (I'm a Giants fan, and Phil Simms' voice puts me in a murderous rage. And Jim Nantz is like Bob Costas-lite in terms of being a full of himself blowhard.

I just kind of get the feeling that they know everyone is going to watch this for the content and not the bells and whistles. I think they keep it low rent because they know everyone is going to watch anyway.

How does the NFL let these guys do games?Awful pregame... awful game coverage.Just awful.
 horrrrrible.Crystal Meth clowns talking over each other every chance they get offering very little insight.

While the announcers are clearly 2nd rate I feel like the video coverage is worse. Time delayed replays with limited angles.

Deion in the booth is eons better than Deion in the studio...he actually provides some insightful game commentary.

Also, I do think that the Patrick/Maguire/Theismann booth was unceremoniously and unfairly dumped and dumped on. I always found them entertaining and felt they added to the gravity of the game. Could they be redundant and predictable? Sure...but they weren't dull.

I have watched several games including tonight and I think Bob Papa is an excellent play by play guy. He also does a good job of getting the color guys involved by asking good questions at pertinent times. No complaints at all with the three guys in the booth tonight. I echo what the other guy said about Deion - decent in the booth, terrible in pre or post game action. I think Faulk is the same way - I like him in the booth far more than in pre/post game action.

Sanders is definitely a moron but just about anyone is better than Kornholer and Jaws :lmao:
Kornheiser makes my ears bleed. Jaws, I can understand...I guess. I know why people like Jaws but I don't really get it. Good guy, explains the game well, but not at all entertaining.Give me Madden.Jaws makes me feel like I'm back in school.Madden makes me feel like I'm in a bar.I'd rather be in a bar. :lmao:

I give Deion Sanders performance an A+ if only for the taking off his boots joke. I'll admit, I laughed out loud.

Marshall Faulk on the other hand? I think his performance is best summed up by his pre-halftime comments on how the Ravens would definitely want to go into the locker room down by 1 in stead of 4. Riveting stuff!

As for the Papas guy? I dunno I don't really notice him isn't he just supposed to be the filler anyway?

Sterling Sharpe is one of my favorites. I wish he was on a network I get.

Deion is the real drag on the broadcast (or at least what I saw of it on the computer).

Sanders is brutal at whatever he does on TV. The only guys worse than him are Michael Irvin and BOTH Sharpe's.
