NFL Officials meeting at my hotel (1 Viewer)

So all of the NFL referees/officials are meeting in the main conference room in the hotel I'm staying at. Does anybody need any rules clarification for the upcoming season? Should I drop in and heckle Phil Luckett or Ed Hochuli and toss in a challenge flag? What's the shark move here?

thank them for what they do....as much as people complain all the time about them....they really do a pretty good job and people would be surprised how much time and effort they put into it.....they get most of them right and nobody says anything about that.....but they miss a few and all heck breaks loose....they would probably really appreciate a nice word or two.........

Are you in the meeting?

Based on what I've seen over the last two years, if you put on a jersey with a QB's number and hold a football you'll immediately have a full complement of bodyguards on hand. They won't let anybody get within fifteen feet of you without going crazy with whistles and frantic hand signals.

I wish....I officiate high school and college athletics...these guys have great gigs, best seats in the house for the best sport in the world......but they put a ton of time into what they do.....wish I would have tried working my way up a long time ago, you gotta start young and pay your dues......officiating is one of those jobs where you are expected to be perfect and then get better........

Ask them if there are any new rules/modifications that will affect the way the game is played. If so what and how would they be affected? IE Horse collar

Also ask them if they have reviewed the Erin Andrews tapes, and what their initial conclusion of the play is.

Tell them to stop calling ticky tack penalties that are away from the action. Then tell them to stop calling 40 yard interferences on 3rd and 35 when there was no good offense (short pass and there is contact)Same as above on a hold away from the playStart calling the forward man in motion (this is not the CFL)I could go on, but you are not reading this anyway

This.Everyone loves to cry over the San Diego game, but those guys have tons of stuff to watch and the game moves so fast. People have the luxury of sitting back in their easy chair as they watch slow mo replays and then criticize a referee who, while not omnipotent or perfect, is an excellent referee. People are so simple.
