Ok, first you'll have to lay out who you think is in and their seed. Then, predict each round, re-seeding after the first.

Seeds

AFC: Ind, Den, Cin, NE, Jax, Pit

NFC: Sea, Chi, TB, NYG, Car, Was

Round 1

AFC: Pit over Cin, NE over Jax

NFC: Was over TB, NYG over Car

Round 2

AFC: Ind over Pit, NE over Den

NFC: Sea over Was, Chi over NYG

Round 3

AFC: NE over Ind

NFC: Chi over Sea

Super Bowl

NE over Chi

Round 1AFC:Cin over Pitt, Jax over NENFC:TB over Wash, Giants over CarRound 2AFC: Cin over Den, Indy over jaxNFC: Chi over TB, Sea over GiantsRound 3AFC: Cin over IndyNFC: Sea over ChiSuperbowlCin over SeaI could only hope the Pats lose in the first round.

Why bother, I completly agree with yours with exception of Sea over Chi. Then NE over Sea.

Please oh please, ANYONE but the Patriots winning the SB. I can't stomach seeing them win again.

I have an online version of this (with the exception of "picking who'll be in"). I'll post it next week once the seedings are set and I've inputted the teams. It automagically reseeds and keeps score.

Cool. Has there been any talk about doing that postseason challenge again this year? I believe you had a nice online application for that too.

Did I? I did one for the NBA, spinning off of a thread here. I s'pose I could come up with something for the NFL. One or two players from each team, with some combination of positions.

JAX is locked into the #5 seed, and it looks like PIT is a virtual lock for the #6 seed. That being the case, why does everyone think it's going to be PIT @ CIN?It seems that the most likely scenario is that the Bengals will go into KC and lose this weekend. It's not clear if they would beat the Chiefs even if they were going all out this weekend, and it's beginning to look like they're not going to play their starters the whole game. They're guaranteed a homefield game, so there's not much incentive to try to beat the Chiefs and play PIT rather than Jacksonville. Word around Cincy is that they're not too eager to face the Steelers right now.It seems to me that New England will play to beat the Dolphins because it's been Belicheck's philosophy to try to win every game that's on the schedule. The most likely week 17 scenario has the Pats beating the Dolphins & the Bengals losing at the Chiefs. That being the case, it's looking more and more like PIT @ NE and JAX @ CIN for round one.Thoughts?

Hah. Well someone else started the competition but you came up with a web app to calculate scores. I believe we did something like 2 QBs, 3 RBs, 4 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 D, with a player coming from each of the 12 playoff teams. I'll try to find the thread..

Gotta have faith, but if SD wins I hope the CHiefs tank it vs. CIN to move up a couple spots in the draft, and to screw NE, just because i dont like NE.

I hope the Chiefs tank it too. I would feel a lot better about the Steelers' chances of winning in Cincinnati than I would about their chances of winning in Foxboro.
