So the Preseason kicks off in a few weeks...NFL Network is going to air almost all of them (of course mostly on tape delay)...I want to get a sense on how most of you will be following the games...how beneficial is it to try and watch as many games as possible? My attitude towards preseason is along the same lines as MLB Spring Training- which is I don't put much stock into what the established players do, I just monitor their health...however, when it comes to prospects/rookies/fringe players, i don't really know how to approach it...I realize there is no possible way to translate preseason stats into reliable regular season projections...and you don't necessarily need to watch the games to be updated on how depth charts are evolving throughout camp...I'm not a scout by any stretch of the imagination, but I feel there should be valuable information to be had by watching these games that you can't get by reading the box score and post game articles...any thoughts?
