I am running a NFL suicide pool this year and am open to all takers.
Most of you know what a suicide pool is but for those who don't.
You pick one NFL team per week. If your team wins, you move on to the next week. If your team loses, you are out. You can only pick the same team once during the entire season. So, if you pick the Eagles week 1 and they win, you move on to week 2 but can't pick the Eagles again for the rest of the season. If the Eagles lose, you are out. Whoever is left at the end wins.
The cost is going to be $5, but for every person you get to join the pool you will get $1 back.
Here are the answers to some basic questions you may have:
1) How do we get the money to you? The best way is in person if you are in the area. If not, you can mail it to me. Make sure you have a list of people you are paying for and let me know when you mail it out.
2) How do we get the money back if we invite people, or win? You are responsible for the collection of the money of the people that you get. Once you collect the money from your individuals and send it to me, I will send you your refund of the people that you've gotten.
3) What if a person we invited lies about being in it and doesn't pay? Obviously, there are going to be some people you get who aren't gonna give you the money or they will forget. This is fine. However, if a person sends in a pick and doesn't pay, you are responsible for that money. If you don't pay that 5 dollars, that is fine, but you will not get back any refund money. If a person doesn't pay, but doesn't send in any picks, then I will just delete that person and everything will be fine.
