NFL Sunday Ticket on PS3/4 (1 Viewer)

So a friend of mine was telling me you could get the NFL Sunday Ticket on Playstation 3 or 4.  I did some research and I'm finding next to nothing for information on the 2016 season.  It's probably too early.  Did anyone else use this last year?  I was previously under the impression this service was only for college dorms and other addresses that were not eligible for DirecTV.  I can get DirecTV at my home (in fact, I was an 18yr customer prior to cutting the cord) but I don't want to anymore.  I simply have Netflix and Antenna now and I have no problem paying the $359 for the NFL Sunday Ticket Max so I can run it on my Roku.  I just want to find out if it's actually available everywhere like my buddy says.

Yes, I did last year.  It's for "college students".  It's not for "college dorms", it's for anyone with a .edu e-mail address (or access to one).

That's it?  Just get a .edu email?  My son has one so I could just have him order it for me?  Or is there some street address verification they do with the email address?

last year was the first year they verified my address
ah ... bummer ... sounds like that's going to be a no go.  I have no problem paying for the NFL Ticket.  I just think it's robbery that I have to pay $359 to begin with but when you couple that with signing up for $150/mth DirecTV subscription, it's just beyond acceptable.  Oh well, looks like I'll be forced to seek out some illegal method of obtaining NFL games.

They did not.  My sister has a legit .edu address, and I had her pay for it and I reimbursed her.  All it gives you is a username and password that you log into Sunday ticket with (one stream at a time).  I just did so on my home theater computer.

ok ... well, maybe there's hope for me yet.  Thanks Matttyl.
