NFLN reports Randy Moss met with saints over weekend (1 Viewer)

just heard it on NFLN will look 4 link....

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/post/report-randy-moss-visits-new-orleans-saints-with-marques-colston-injured/2011/09/10/gIQA7eaiIK_blog.html

With Marques Colston out after breaking his collarbone in the New Orleans Saints' opener Thursday against the Green Bay Packers and Lance Moore out with a groin injury, the New Orleans Saints could use a little help at wide receiver.

And, when a team needs a little help at wide receiver, the name of Randy Moss is going to surface. It has. Moss, according to New OrleansTV station WWL, visited the Saints facility today.

However, Saints spokesman Greg Bensel said Moss had not visited the team. Joel Segal, the agent for Moss, told the Times-Picayune that the Saints have not contacted him.

Colston is expected to be out four weeks. As New England, Minnesota and Tennessee found out last season, he really isn't the answer.

Sorry, in leagues that still allow sunday pick ups, kind of important for any of those threads to have 'visit with saints' in title IMHO, especially whenthe news broke late saturday night when many are out drinking, watching NCAA etc.Randy moss to be pat by wednesday and "so whose picking up moss now" with no mention of his visiting the High powered sts offense is insane. Hell merge it later, but for the guy waking up hungover from watching Michigan beat Notre Dame one of the greatest comebacks in college football history those headlines ain't gonna pull me in (as one is a week old) and the other looks like a half baked honda.and 87 threads :lmao: 87 is exactly the same as 2  :lmao:Sorry if I bumped Stafford or Schaub? or Desean jackson doesn't have a new contract? of the front page... (hint: that's sarcasm)

If Moss visited Saints, it happened without Saints calling his agent

With receiver Marques Colston gone for a month or longer due to a broken collarbone and receiver Lance Moore missing Thursday night’s opener against the Packers with a groin injury, the Saints need a little divine intervention.Or maybe they just need a diva.

According to WWLTV.com, receiver Randy Moss was at the Saints’ facility on Saturday.

Unfortunately, the report apparently is erroneous. Per a league source, if Moss made a visit to the Saints facility, the visit occurred without the Saints contacting Randy’s agent, Joel Segal. Not only would that be highly unconventional, it also would likely be a violation of the labor deal, especially if any conversations occurred with Randy regarding a possible contract.

Moss has “retired” from the NFL, but it is believed that he’d return in certain specific circumstances. The Saints were one of several teams believed to be on Randy’s radar, along with the Pats, Bear

LOL "person of intrest'? it sounds like he's a murder suspect

Report: Randy Moss a 'Player of Interest' to New Orleans Saints, Visited Team Facilities

The New Orleans Saints are interestedin the services of one Randy Moss, according to WWL-TV in New Orleans.

Moss, who is currently retired, is reportedly "a player of interest" to the Saints and WWL-TV reports that Moss was at the team's facilities on Saturday morning.

The Saints may be in the market for a wide receiver now that their leading wideout Marques Colston is expected to miss four weeks after breaking his collarbone in the season opener against Green Bay.

However, Saints GM Mickey Loomis is denying any interest in Moss by the team.

Moss is thought to be interested in returning to the NFL in the right situation, but many fans assumed that if he returned, it would be with the New England Patriots.

Here's a post in one of the other Moss threads from last night talking about his alleged Saints visit:http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=608969&view=findpost&p=13519750Sunday is a busy day in the Shark Pool. Just trying to do my small part on keeping it from having several threads on one player....who isn't even signed to a team yet.
