Taped this and just watched it. A few things stood out to me:
1. That must have been the game of Nathan's life.
2. That must have been the game of Strock's life.
3. San Diego defensive backs dropped 3 sure interceptions.
4. The Chargers won on the road despite 4 turnovers and 2 missed field goals. (Of course, the Dolphins had 3 turnovers and 2 blocked field goals.)
5. Defenses are a lot better today than the two in this game. Granted, the Dolphins were facing the Chargers' potent offense, and the Chargers defense was poor... but they really looked (a) bad and (b) a lot less sophisticated.
6. I lost respect for Bob Kuechenberg because of his comments about Winslow. He criticized Winslow for not being able to get off the field without help at the end. Winslow said his legs, back, shoulders, and stomach were all cramping. What did Kuechenberg think, he was lying?
