Just like the other ones, I've put teams into tiers based on 2009 stats and 2010 personnel. Your job, should you decide to accept it, is to show me where I'm wrong!

Top Tier: SD, NO, GB, IND, MIN

Also VG Tier: BAL, CHI, HOU, PIT, MIA, NE, DAL

AVG NFL Team Tier: SEA, ARZ, SF, OAK, DEN, TEN, CAR, JAX, ATL, PHA, WAS, NYJ, NYG, CIN

Substandard Tier: STL, KC, TB, DET, CLE, BUF

Laughable Tier: none

Lot's of room for discussion on this one...

I think DET should be up a tier...or they ahve the chance to be

CHI down to the average tier

OAK down a tier

swap MIA and PHILLY

Houston and Dallas both belong in the top tier (before Minn)NYG should be in the VG tier. Miami should be down a tierCleveland and Buffalo have no business in anything but the laughable tier. Only reason StL isn't there is at least Bradford has a chance to surprise.

Minny: 68% complete, 34 td, 7 int.
I know what Minny did and I love the personnel there. At the same time, that was a career year for Favre and I don't see him duplicating those numbers at yet another year older. Still very, very good, but I'd be shocked if he puts up those elite #'s again.

KC will surprise people this season - their defense was playing at a high level late last year , they're likely to see a huge improvement in 2010 with Crennel as D. coordinator...they are going tro challenge for a playoff spot in 2010.

I'd swap Cle and Sea..nothing Seattle does makes me think they're going to be anything special..Hass is what, 45 yrs old now? cmon.Is he really going to lead them to the postseason with that fragile body of his? no way..we've seen the Pete Carroll NFL head coach movie before, it's a 2-star movie that doesn't end well...ra-ra coaching is best left in the college ranks.

just my opinion, but Tenn should be in the substandard tier...is VY for real? seriously? nah..this is the `Regression to the Mean` year for CJohnson and the Titans, sporting a 7-9 record ...

I would also move SF up one tier - they're soon-2-be very good.

They were giving up an average of 30.8 points per game over the final 6 games?

I'm sure Berry will make a difference but I don't see anyway they make a run at the playoffs with there personnel...who knows though.
