As if the Flyers season could get much worse - Scott Laughton still not back on bench after the NIskanen hit

Leveled. Didn't know Niskanen had that in him.Full speed: https://vine.co/v/OD0lQ5UnMaw
Similar to Scott Stevens on Lindros.
Thought the same thing when I saw it live.Love me some Stevens  Niskanen has been playing with some edge to him I haven't seen before.
#### Scott Stevens. I gotta tell ya, lost a little respect for ya tonight tom287593593.

Looks like the little puke is up to his old tricks, hope he gets 10 games and someone 2 hands him in the teeth

It's the same move Cooke attempted on Karlsson when he sliced his Achilles. Not shocked that only the pukes of the league use this tactic along the boards.

The drop off from when the Rangers were playing well a week ago to these past two games is crazy

Its not as if they are playing well and losing. They look like they are tired. Its too bad. This was a really rough stretch and I think they are still Ok, but they have to win tonight. A win tonight and a win on Sunday would right the ship again

Stupid post in the Islanders game was a game changer

I think through the second period last night they were playing pretty well, just not finishing. Nash on the breakaway, Nash in the slot, MSL off that beautiful give-and-go right in front of the crease where he flubbed it, etc. After those though, they lost whatever they had.

Reports coming out that they are close with Staal on a 6 year, $5.7MMish per deal. I'm a little hesitant on it. There is just so much money invested in the back end and a lot of new contracts still coming for the younger forwards. However, prospect depth is much better at forward and there is no way Staal wouldn't have gotten that and then some on the open market, even if his best days are behind him.

I think its something they have to do. But like you, not sure its the best thing

Agree on the effort, but putting the puck into the net is part of the issue. I think that comes from not having full energy. Zuuc hit a crossbar and then you had the double post on Tuesday. Nash doesnt miss many of those breakaways and Kreider had one that he couldnt lift. But props to Tuuka he played very well as did Halaak

Just need to bury some tonight

You're really terrible at this, go back to watching you garbage team, the Karlsson incident isn't close to the same thing, plus if you're gonna try your weak attempt at trolling me, make sure the guy has been on the roster in the last year...1975

I wouldn't waste my time trolling you, was just comparing pukes. But I've watched it, go look and see what Cooke tried to do to Karlsson. He attempts the Penguin slew foot, fails then clips the back of his leg.

I just traded Foligno and Sam Bennett for Malkin, Markov and Chris Neil.

It may look one sided but our league is a $-auction keeper league and Foligno offers significant value.

Yeah they had a couple of clunkers but they'll get back on track tonight. Always bumps in the road.

That Blues Detroit game was a lot of fun last night. I'd like to check and see when the last time Zetterberg or Datsyuk didn't have a point against us but I don't feel like being depressed. We almost did it last night until Elliott decided to let a floater squeak through. Sheesh.

Reto Berra scored a goal for the Lake Erie Monsters ... just the 11th goalie in AHL history to do it.

I'm sure Roy will be thrilled that Berra is working on all the right things in the AHL.

The Isles poured it on late but it was a much closer than the score indicated. Downie with an idiotic penalty late that led to a goal then the EN to finish. Kyle O killed it tonight. First time the Pens allowed a player to score 4 goals since Markus Naslund in 2003.

Sid with 12 points in his last 6 games and the Pens get 2 PP goals for the first time since early November.

Did Carcillo cross check a guys arm in half?

Elton John was on to something as Iginla and Callahan drop the gloves near the end of the first in Tampa

Also I thought I had the reds adjusted properly on my TV until I put on Coaches Corner tonight
