A fellow co-worker and I were disagreeing about which receiver is better. I just wanted some outside opinions. I have Nicks as slightly better than Austin. What do you guys think?
That is what i said, he is calling me Giants homer, but I say i take Dez over Nicks. His other argument was that Eli has nobody else to throw it to.Thus far in their careers, Miles is slightly ahead statistically, but he also has 2 more years than Nicks.Austin's best season is better than Nicks' best season, but he also played all 16 games, while Nicks has never done so.Nicks has yet to complete a full 16 games in his 2 NFL seasons, while Austin did it 3 of his first 4 years.Potential-wise? I would go Nicks. But based on their resume so far, I voted Austin.
Guess he doesn't know who Manningham is? Or Steve Smith before he was injured last year? That is what i said, he is calling me Giants homer, but I say i take Dez over Nicks. I think Nicks would thrive just as much as Austin in the Cowboys offense.
source???Going with Austin since it appears Nicks career is in jeopardy.
slightly??? u kiddin me, I love me some Hakeem Nicks... Nicks by a half mileA fellow co-worker and I were disagreeing about which receiver is better. I just wanted some outside opinions. I have Nicks as slightly better than Austin. What do you guys think?
Austin is out for a few weeks with a bad hammy, and them linger, so That is already not happening.Austin is only good when Romo is the QB. But I'll take Austin over Nicks this year, considering they stay somewhat healthy all year.

yeah...wtf?? Did I miss something?I know he's got some health/durability issues, but haven't heard/read this. Fantasy-wise, I need him this year in the worst way.source???Going with Austin since it appears Nicks career is in jeopardy.![]()
If the question was who do you like more - you could be right. I am sure you do like him a lot more, for whatever reason. If the question is who is the better football player, Nicks has nothing over Miles by a half mile. In fact, since starting, when playing with Romo, there isn't a more productive WR in the NFL than Miles Austin. Period. Look at the numbers. Not Fitz, not AJ, not Calvin, Not Roddy.'T with T said:slightly??? u kiddin me, I love me some Hakeem Nicks... Austin has been more successful especially with Romo throwing the ball but Nicks physical tools are on another level his QB sucks and he still produces, that being said from a fantasy perspective I would consider them about equal this season until Austin got hurt.If the question was who do you like more - you could be right. Romo is a better QB, but he spreads the ball out more. Nicks gets a higher % of throws. And what physical tools are on another level? Miles is bigger, taller, and faster. He may not look physical, but he absolutely is. He is one of the strongest guys, pound for pound, at the position. You don't have much of an argument, regarding "physical tools".Austin has been more successful especially with Romo throwing the ball but Nicks physical tools are on another level his QB sucks and he still produces, that being said from a fantasy perspective I would consider them about equal this season until Austin got hurt.If the question was who do you like more - you could be right.
