Niners at Rams (1 Viewer)

I understand the Niners have won 3 in a row and Rams lost 5.......but come on, the Niners are coming off a big upset and are going on the road.

Is there anyone out there that thinks the Rams will NOT cover the 5 pts against the Niners????

because the rams can no longer pass...so will have to rely on the running game which will make it a much tighter score.

Well....I just laid $440 ON THE rAMS AND a 2 teamer on the rams -5 and Cinncy -3......wish me luck!
The Niners have looked real good these last 3 games, and STL has not. Good luck with that. The line was 6 at the beginning of the week, but so many people bet on the Niners they pushed it to 5 to induce more action on the Rams. I personally think the niners win this one straight up.

I just laid a bunch on SF +4.5 and I also laid some more on a -6 point wager where I get the Niners -1.5.

I'm happy with the wagers but I wish I would have gotten it earlier in the week when it was at 6.

Rams homer here and I'm shocked it is @ 5 pts. Granted the Rams are usually really tough at home but without Pace they can't do what they want to on offense. We can't stop the run and SF is good at running. "If" the rams win I don't see it being by more than 3 personally but good luck on it. I do also love Cinncy -3 and the over in that game.

Something tells me Torry Holt being covered by Sammy Davis tomorrow might cure what ails the Rams' passing attack.
I was going to post this same thing.I expect the Rams passing attack to blow up big this week, 30+ points and a fairly comfortable win. Something like 31-17 Rams.I'm a 49er local, so this is not my hope but my prediction.

He and his 6ppg average over the last month have got to worry you?
You don't suddenly write off Torry Holt, against an injured 49er secondary, at home, because of some short-term stat. You do that and you're the guy doing this :wall: after a 100+ yard, 2 TD game. This is exactly the kind of situation you WANT him to be in.

I'm a Niner's fan, and I think St. Louis takes this one pretty easily. SF was lucky to squeak one out at Detroit a couple weeks back. We are just not a good road team. See @ Chicago.

I traded him a month ago because I knew he'd slow down and didn't want to be forced into starting him every week when he's laying eggs.

So you traded the most consistent fantasy WR over the last several years because you knew he would be "laying eggs," even before the Pace injury? Right. Tell me you sold high - or at least something plausible - and I might believe you.

rams down by 1 to start 4th quarter...

problem with STL is they are way too inconsistent on offense since pace went on IR, & defense consistently bad...

when looking for lines to exploit, i prefer taking a consistent teams... if you don't know what you are getting from week to week, it is truly gambling in worst sense, & not much different from flipping a coin... maybe you win, but you'll have to count on rams playing better, which is chancy...

I don't get to see much of the Rams, but right now I have to think that they'd benefit by going to the hurry up more often, a la Cincinnati.
